I just used Duratex for the first time on a new cabinet build. One word...WOW! I may never use tolex again! This stuff is easy to apply, dries quickly, and looks great! Now...the test of time. :-)
Jessie Palermo to my knowledge it has. I sold the cabinets I used it on and there were no issues. I over-sanded the first cabinet I made with it and it came off. When I followed the directions on the next cabinets it was almost bullet-proof! Awesome stuff!
I just did my first speaker, it already had black paint and I only needed one coat, so I have heaps left. The only question I have is this: The top lid of the bucket was quite hard to get off, but now I have a problem putting it back on, it just sits on top. Is that normal? I am thinking about finding a heavy object to put on top of the lid so that the paint inside does not dry out. Is there something I am not doing right?
