Hey there! Mikeastro here again, thanks a lot for playing another one of my tests! Your commentary is second to none; you make these videos supremely entertaining. On top of that you are able to solve these complex puzzles at such a good pace; very impressive! Considering your blind run time of less than 27 minutes, I'd say a difficulty of 4.5 is quite accurate haha! I am looking forward to the next time you decide to play one of mine already. Thanks a lot for this video and for keeping the tradition of commentated blind run videos of Portal 2 maps alive in this amazing way :D
mikeastro's puzzles are pure (German i think?) elegance. no idea how they come up with such exquisite constructions. very good. i was screaming at the screen with solution when I noticed it, but it was enjoyable you figuring it out eventually.
As soon as I realized it was THIS yes I paused the video and went into the game to try to solve it again. This test drove me crazy several times. I tried for 10 minutes before I gave up and came back to the video. That part towards the end where you kinda went silent, I thought up the same thing you ended up doing that worked. It was like I read your mind 😂
I think I’ve come close before but not to this extent. It’s difficult for sure and I often find that I have to stretch my creative muscles more by building tests than playing them.
Thank you for the kind words. I am quite proud of this puzzle myself in its current form; things just ended up working out in a very nice way. I would invite you to check out the original map in my workshop and see the changes; it had much of the logic of this one but it was a lot bigger and had a much more complicated lay out. Being able to condense the puzzle in this way is not easy and took me many years of designing tests in between these two releases to achieve. If you keep practicing by designing more puzzles and putting a decent amount of thought, effort and time in each one, I'm sure you can design amazing tests!
The moment you picked up the redirection cube and were being blocked by the weighted storage cube, I sat up and leaned forward in my chair.... you done solved it by accident! As always, it was a blast watching you work through the puzzles
0:14 - Oh hey, I remember this puzzle! Not sure if I played it myself or watched someone else play it, though 0:58 - You underestimate and undersell yourself 3:16 - Just get good at it lol 26:19 - You may have accidentally stumbled upon the solution, but again, you're more than capable of figuring these out in full :) Great video as per usual!
hi I just what to let you know that i'm making an test chamber it will take a long time if you do play it I will comment please reply and till me if you thought its was fun don't mater if you don't like it

One of the few times I could visualize the solution before you solved it. Great puzzle and I even felt smart just by solving it while watching 10/10!
And it irritated me the whole time as per usual XD
@@JamesTK so dont watch his videos... damn kid...
@@c64116 “damn kid” seriously? What possessed you to comment that.

Netherlands (Dutch) I believe
Thank you for the kind words! I am Dutch indeed, but it's not far from Germany so I'd say your analysis is still quite accurate :]

I would love to be able to create such an elegant, minimalist puzzle. My brain just doesn't work that way.

Heck yeah! Mike’s puzzles are…always really hard for me. I made a series of me and my friend attempting his co-op series “Foursight”. Hilarity ensues
I'm pretty certain i said in the description of the recommendation area i said i found this quite hard.
Thanks for recommending one of my maps! It was a joy to watch this him work this one out :]
Also, today marks 1 year since I posted my TUBER series to the workshop. I hope you get a chance to play and enjoy them some day!

I was about to say this test looks similar
"Not entirely, not entirely. Look at the word 'test', on the wall there. That's brand new."

It’s definitely a 4.5/10 since I just solved it in my head slightly less than halfway through the video.
would like to see you play some maps where using glitches are the intended solution
That was so simpleeee, how did you fumble this hard??? 😭😭😭
Wanna try map I recommended for you?
