Matthew was blessed to have two great men in his life, his dad and step dad. I lived in the same town his dad lived in and got to know him a bit and he seemed like a really good guy.

I am also the father of a recovering alcoholic who also struggles with depression. We are very close. Keith and Matthew's words resonate deeply. They bring me to tears watching this. Setting the fame aside Mathew Perry had a struggle with addiction just as millions of us out here have had in one way or another during our lives.. it’s a difficult journey. More so when your choices & missteps are Judged in real time by millions. It takes a strong individual to come out the other end of addiction alone without the added pressures. I’ve always rooted for Mathew and it was beautiful to see towards the end of his life he was winning!! Sending so much love to the “friends” & wonderful family who supported Mathew in his fight.

At first you are one of the best, and an amazing interviewer. I am so sorry for your loss. I live with that pain every day, as my 14 year old grandson took his own life 12 years ago. First the anger with with what he did, then the pain and heartache of the lose. It never goes away. But i finally think of the good times, the hugs his laughter was contagious. Day by day i don't know if it heals your heart, but God helps to make it a little easier to live with. May God bless you and your family.

May I ask, are your patients people w/ substance abuse issues? What I keep remembering Matthew saying after the book came out, and then, when finding out he had obviously relapsed in his recovery, was that he could help others, even if/when he couldn't help himself. Do you find that to be true of his book?
I know grief. I lost my husband in 2018. You can't imagine how it feels to lose a loved one. It's too cruel, inhumane. I never thought I would get over it. Last year I spent the winter in Portugal and finally found some peace. To lose a child is the worst. I'm so sorry for Keith and especially his wife. ❤

Thank You Keith for your kind and quiet compassion your voice has been such a large part of my life. I am an addict and alcoholic I found my end of the road and made my choice to get clean and sober in 1991 and have enjoyed life on a much greater scale since packing up for rehab and never looking back. Now I am coming up to 33 years in AA and all that comes along with getting older. Thanks for being a positive voice for those who tried to break free, and those who do. I think of my addiction as a painting in my bedroom, a reminder of my past but never very far from where I dream.

Hoda's countenance and capacity to bear witness to the grief is quite beautiful and rare in her industry. Most want to lighten it up , change the subject, or fix the feelings. I have newfound respect for her.
Losing a child is the hardest loss anyone can go through. We lost our daughter 11 years ago in a mass shooting. You always wonder if you could have saved your child or stopped the event from even happening. I still kick myself because I had the chance to stop by her work during my break. At least we exchanged messages just hours before she died and I still treasure these messages.
I love Keith Morrison and when I found out he was a fellow Canadian, it just made me love him more. The man is amazing. I am sorry he, his wife and their family had to experience their loss. Life is wonderful, but it isn't fair.
After reading Matthew's book shortly after his death, I wondered if his life would have been better if he had been able to pursue a career in tennis after he got to the U.S. Life on the sports circuit seems to be healthier for many, and maybe he wouldn't have been so prone to addiction. Truly a talented young man. He felt very supported by Keith and wrote positively about him.
He spoke about Matthew in such a loving and eloquent way.

Thank You Keith for your kind and quiet compassion your voice has been such a large part of my life. I am an addict and alcoholic I found my end of the road and made my choice to get clean and sober in 1991 and have enjoyed life on a much greater scale since packing up for rehab and never looking back. Now I am coming up to 33 years in AA and all that comes along with getting older. Thanks for being a positive voice for those who tried to break free, and those who do. I think of my addiction as a painting in my bedroom, a reminder of my past but never very far from where I dream.
Keith appeared to be a caring stepfather who treated Matthew well. Matthew's absence is deeply felt, and I sincerely hope that his soul has found peace. Miss you Matty!
Hoda's countenance and capacity to bear witness to the grief is quite beautiful and rare in her industry. Most want to lighten it up , change the subject, or fix the feelings. I have newfound respect for her.
Losing a child is the hardest loss anyone can go through. We lost our daughter 11 years ago in a mass shooting. You always wonder if you could have saved your child or stopped the event from even happening. I still kick myself because I had the chance to stop by her work during my break. At least we exchanged messages just hours before she died and I still treasure these messages.

I love Keith Morrison and when I found out he was a fellow Canadian, it just made me love him more. The man is amazing. I am sorry he, his wife and their family had to experience their loss. Life is wonderful, but it isn't fair.
After reading Matthew's book shortly after his death, I wondered if his life would have been better if he had been able to pursue a career in tennis after he got to the U.S. Life on the sports circuit seems to be healthier for many, and maybe he wouldn't have been so prone to addiction. Truly a talented young man. He felt very supported by Keith and wrote positively about him.
