I’m all for praising Jim Starlin for his work on Captain Marvel, but it was Roy Thomas who created the switching into another dimension CM, which was a homage to the original CM.
John Ridgeway, the artist in the Miracleman Family sequence, was the original artist on Hellblazer. Recently revisited those issues and there are a ton of interesting panel layouts.
This was a lot of fun, thank you fellas. I wish the reprints wouldn’t mute the colors. I have to be honest when I knew less I always liked the muted colors better, but those psychedelic colors are a treat.
