Hehe.."please turn the record over". A certain charm and wisdom emanates from these old videos.

You have no idea how much these videos are helping me out. It’s not just about part swapping. Sometimes you need to know why.

Used to use a lot of the Chrysler Master Tech videos when I taught automotive repair. The first time I went to the Detroit training center in the mid 90's I asked to see Tech. He was there and his was suit was orange. Most of the film strips I used were black and white so I never saw the colors. He isn't too colorful in this video.

Great video. I have a 66 Charger and I'm having problems with the alternator just stops charging after the engine gets hot. When cold, charges when first started and as battery charges the ammeter settles down to the middle. Then after driving a while, no charge. I changed the voltage regulator (I carry a spare) and it made no difference at all. I'm thinking the alternator is failing after it gets hot but as you say, it's rarely the alternator. Thanks

I have an alternator that want to put out 15V above 1200 rpm, with the two wire electronic regulator. At idle it puts out 12+. Any ideas? Using the square box alternator. Have it wired correctly to the alternator and the regulator.
