Mate now you and your dad have to go to church on Sunday. Not only did Spurs beat Brentford but we ALSO signed Tel. Re your video on the subject. I’m not always religious but shows it’s good to have faith.
His name stood out from the second Bayern pre-season friendly last summer - just rewatched the highlights and he played a blinder that day.... much better to have him on our side!
Daniel Levy didn’t get Tel, Ange got Tel after he had a long phone call with him. So credit goes to Ange, not to Levy. Levy couldn’t get him, Ange could.
Let's be cautious! Tel is not the obvious long term answer to our striker rebuild. He wants to stay at Bayern and its a loan without any option to buy. I remain open to seeing how he plays and how the club responds to his progress. But at least we have a plug for the Solanke gap for the rest of the season.
From what I've seen he's a bit of a fox in the box, saw Bayern last season and he chipped in with quite a few goals when he came on as sub. Seems like a good unpredictable old school style box player, sharp and alert.
What an unexpected turnaround. Not too sure how to feel about someone who rejected us, then changed his mind when he ran out of options. That said, he brings a necessary skill set and has a motivation to show off his talents until the summer window.
He is being forced out by Bayern, he'd prefer to stay there but I imagine they came down on him and said "dude if you want to stay long term you have to go short term" this is business not player choice
I'm happy with Tel signing, particularly the loan. Could work out for everyone. If he works out for Spurs AND Spurs works out for him, he could sign a permanent deal. Good help for Richy up front in short term and if the club sell Richy in the summer then Tel and Dane (or Will) could provide backup to Solanke. Would be sweet to win Europa League and get Champions League football next year which could help develop the players also. Can't/won't count on that, but still hopeful!
The reason he didn’t want to join initially was because he looked at Tottenham, we were 15th in the league. He didn’t want to sign a 4-5 year contract & join a club that could potentially get relegated, so he rejected Tottenham. But now he’s accepted a loan, that way if we don’t get relegated he’ll probably sign permanently, but if we get relegated, it means he can go straight back to Bayern Munich. So it’s a smart move on his side.
Not that i know much about the Tel loan deal, but i do have a sneaky feeling that Kane and Dier's utterences about Spurs having some sort of an impact on the subject. The Ange Sympathizer COYS!!.
Boom. Like a slap in the face. I'm working night shift this roaster here in Australia and my father in law was watching deadline day back in Scotland and msg me about the Tel news. He could be the difference with helping us win a cup
Clickbait title,Spurs have not 'stunned everyone',its a panic loan to save their season and finish Top 10,rather than further down in mid-table or lower ! 😂😂
I like how depth a bit better now with a st to fill in for solanke and a cb but what I don’t like about tel is that he rejected us and only after Man U couldn’t agree a deal with Bayern he chooses to join us and only on loan to
Looking around the league the solankie signing is looking better and better. Arsenal, chealse, Man U are all desperate for a striker levy’s doesn’t always make the wrong move as some fans would have you believe.
Sonny - look at last time, Solanke on the last day. Fans just moaning before the answers come. We could have gotten them in earlier but players need to negotiate themselves for the best possible deal. It makes total sense. Their is nothing Levy or Ange could do but let the time run its course.
He chose Tottenham over Manchester United, yeah it was unexpected indeed. He wasn’t exactly my favourite striker but at least he’ll fill the gap that Solanke left due to his injury. On the other hand, I’d like to sign a striker like Gyokeres (impossible) or a backup option like Chris Wood but I know this guy would like to play as many minutes as he can, besides he’s in his 30’s but he’s still got it I like Wood.
City signed 4.players, almost 200m spent, Spurs struggling in a similar position spend 25m, and a loan...please...this is crappy!!! Time to call a spade a spade and stop this nonsense, this is penny pinching, it's a complete lack of ambition, there should have been e or 4 signings at the very start of the window, these guys will not have a chance against Liverpool... Total crap!
I not sure about this as it’s a double edged sword, if he smashes it we get a few months and Munich get their player trained by us, if he flops we paying his wages for a couple of months. In the ideal world he do well and be happy here and want to stay 🤞🤞 Munich might think we did well by them with Kane, Dier ? 🤣🤣 Agreed about the Palace guy, Levy trying to pull the wool over our eyes
Tel could be a good player he refuse our beloved club then he change idea i would prefer my academy player they will be more Fidel than him n will play with heart❤
Bad signing. Tel will just use us for gametime for 6 months and we'll get nothing in return. We won't be able to develop Dale, Moore and Lankshear in the same way we are doing now
@@simplytheG.O.A.Twe also have interest in plugging holes due to injuries. You’re looking at the glass half empty. It will be his choice where he goes when he leaves Bayern if he does. Let’s do our best!

that is true
We need a good finisher NOW! Think of all the times Werner simply could not put the ball in the back of the net.
We have some good goalscorers at the club now

He is a good option to have
Plugging the Solanke and Romero holes was the primary goal this window and we've done it!
Exactly
Signing a 19 year old on loan without an option to buy when we already lack experience is risky unless he's just that good. I hope he's that good!
who else should we have got?
He’s better than most of our attacking players.
He will fit right in
@@SonnyTalksSpurs agreed mate. Keep the content coming fella.

Bayern’s loss is our gain
Is it with a obligation to buy ? If it aint then this is nothing yo get overly excited about i dont think
It is

He saw the Brentford game and went that is for me
We need rotation of players to reduce injuries.

Bayern havent paid for Kane yet have they
they spread it out
It was either come to tottenham on loan and have some paying time or stay at bayern and keep the bench warm

We weren't his first choice. Not for me.
he will have to prove himself
Sky sports claim it was Ange that turned Tel's head
It was I did mention that
Just read Arse will take another look at Tel in the summer. So we pay to advertise him and arse snatch him. Not impressed, this isn't good business
he might want to come to us

I don't think we need a striker like that as we have Dom
Tel is friends with Josh Zirkzee at Man U.
Not sure if this was the main reason for his change of heart with Man U.
I’m flabbergasted!! Not happy it’s only a loan, though. But, there you go. It’s an outfield player!! 🎉🎉🎉
yeah we needed a player like him in - and if he flops we send him back
