BABE WAKE UP NEW WALLIEB KMART VIDEO DROPPED🔥🔥🔥
Sallie check out the abandoned kmart in bay city mi near the applebees
Wow a old Kmart ❤ video
This is one of those days I'm really missing KMart. End of summer sales, new fall items, fall jackets, Halloween items. I miss just walking around the store. 🌞
Eddie lambert didn't know what he was doing he didn't even try to keep the kmart stores open closed them for the property
The board of directors - should have fired Eddie , long before he started to shut down the Kmart / Sears company. ( of his selfish ways - he did NOT cared about the company at all. )
Wow something you don’t see everyday thanks wallie for this amazing video. There is abandoned Kmart in marine city Michigan still has the sign up
The Big Lots in West Chester Ohio is closing. I never thought I'd see the day. Ever since Kroger left that building, Big Lots had always thrived there.
I hope to see the yellow G5 soon making a Big Lots video before it's gone 😉
Yep, such a shame this Kmart is gone. I'm from Erie and I take the bus (bus stop terminal to the right of the plaza) almost weekly. Kmart was right there when I needed to pick up a few things or just to mosey around until my bus came. And yes, That was indeed a Giant Eagle there. It was there for a good many years. Both closed with in a year or two between the two of them. Nice video Wallie as always :-)
Kmart live is better than Walmart old closed store forever I've seen lot Big Kmart years ago I missed this place.
An awesome video, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍👍👍 I really miss Kmart. I used to shop in the Weirton, WV Kmart store, and now we have a Big Lots in the former Kmart. I honestly don't go in Big Lots all that much. I especially liked shopping in Kmart for Christmas gifts. I miss Hills and Ames as well.
Great video, Wallie! We always loved Kmart and Ames back in the day. Stay awesome!!!
You know its a good day when wallie uploads
Big Lots opened in part of the K-Mart building near me only about 3 years ago. They recently changed to Big Lots Home but are now closing for good.
Louisville?
@@zandergoose4707 Yes. On Poplar Level Road.
I greatly appreciated the seagull commentary. I work at a Sam's Club and it's taken over by black birds (maybe crows) in the early morning hours, before the club opens, and all they do is fly around, perch on the roof and yell.
Great video Wallie! there's still an abandoned Kmart in Clio,MI
Every time when Wallie drops a video of an old abandoned Kmart, it just fuels my passion for Kmart even more 🥰
I’m from NYC and we still have one Kmart left in Bridgehampton, NY. It’s a very long ride on the Long Island Rail Road but it’s worth the trip honestly. The store is fully stocked with good prices and a decent amount of customers. Aside from bankruptcy and other financial issues, the reason you’ve seen so many Sears and Kmart stores close is due to the fact that their owner Transformco invests in real estate rather than retail. Essentially almost all Sears and Kmart stores were put up for rent/sale and once they find a buyer or tenant they close the store to “reimagine the space”. So the reality is Transformco still owns/pays rent on many shuttered Sears and Kmart stores. 2 Kmarts remain on the US mainland, in NY and Florida, and 4 other Kmarts are located on other US territories. Sears currently operates 11 stores however by the end of the summer that number will soon be down to 9 as one store in Washington and another store in California are currently liquidating. Once these stores liquidate Sears will have 9 locations: 1 in Massachusetts, 2 in Florida, 3 in California, 1 in Texas, 1 in Washington, and 1 in Puerto Rico.
Fun fact: Sears is still successful in Mexico and Kmart is still successful in Australia and New Zealand due to different ownership.
It actually appears to be in better shape than the Kmart here in Somerset Ky that closed the same here. The entrance to our garden center is growing green algae and there are 3 plastic kiddie pools inside to collect leaking water. The lobby area by the main entrance has ceiling tiles that have fallen down.
A kmart revisit by wallieb26. Awesome!!
Garden Center door be still opening and closing by itself to this day
Great video wallie your awesome man don't let anyone let you down
great video there wallie
Erie native here that passes by this plaza all the time for work.
The roof of the entire plaza needs replaced, and the lease holder is still paying Millcreek Township to this day.
I used to change into my UPS uniform when I worked as a seasonal helper in this Kmart bathroom back in 2013.
Giant Eagle was definitely next door, and was my pharmacy of choice.
The Chinese food place in the plaza in my opinion is the best take-out in Erie.
Wow. That is still decent shape. The pics at the end I really miss our Kmart. Sad they went out of business. Great store. Thanks for the tour.
Wallie, I know you did a video of the Big K here in Massillon Ohio. They made a storage unit and a Chipotle and a coffee shop in the parking lot.
Great video. I can't believe a retailer hasn't taken that prime spot yet!
I love that yellow car, "Bee Friend"
Right on Wallie, I always enjoy your vids, thanks
Another awesome video! Kmart sure miss these stores!
THAT KMART WAS THE FIRST ONE BUILT IN THE ERIE AREA BACK IN THE LATE 60’S ,THEN FINALLY built one ON THE EAST SIDE OF TOWN
I agree, when we would go to Erie this was a great store to pick up anything you needed for the beach. Giant Eagle closed in what year? I liked Giant Eagle to also get last minute vacation or beach needs!
I live a little bit south of there and I’m still so sad it’s closed. There was also a giant eagle next door that relocated to across from the mall. I just found your videos and I enjoy them!
Edit: Kmart and Giant Eagle were both in there at the same time.
Kmart was always one of the places for back to school as a kid! Here and at Hills! NO Walmart!!
Wallie, can you check out the abandoned Feller's Garage in castle shannon, pa? I think it would make a great abandoned video
My Kmart closed in 2014 and In 2024 it got bought and is getting a storage place
Where is this at ?
I love your videos❤❤❤
Omggggg no way!! That K-Mart is only 10 mins away from 0:01 me
My Son-in-law used to work at that Giant Eagle back in 2008. So yes, that was a G.E. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Great video young man. Keep up the awesome job
Between running here there and work time tends to fly wallie.😬
I heard that the old Kmart in Stevensville Maryland was made into a Target so it very good how businesses are making old abandoned buildings into new operating businesses instead of letting the old buildings go to rot and collapsing.
Wow still abandoned I love your videos man your my favorite
I,just finished watching your video about the Erie Kmart.
The former Kmart Stores, have been taken over by Kroger, Meijer Stores, and U-Haul Storage and Truck Rental Centers.
The, former Kmart International Headquarters in Troy has been Demolished for a Fitness Center.
And, Big Lots has Closed a,Store Permanently in Madison Heights. The former Big Lots was located in a,former 1970's Kroger Store.
With, inflation and the retailers are having financial problems and Closing Stores Permanently. 7:52
My old teacher is from Erie. I wonder if she shopped at this Kmart before. Last night, I watched a video of a Sheetz and it has stone tiles in the restrooms, very pretty. Don't know where it's at in Erie though. Have you been to it, Wallie? There is a Sheetz in Euphorium, PA that's closing. If you want, you can check it out. Nice shot of the Elena doll, it almost looks like she's looking right at the camera. I have an Elena of Avalor doll too but she's a light up doll, not the styling head one as in the photo.
walley your so right was a great kmart my mom love that store back b4 walmart and target and other big retail stores kmart sears and jc pennys and boston store downtown were big fish that plaza you to be jam packed with cars now its run down plaza and layway going way back b4 everyone had credit and debit cards that was the way to buy things
Perhaps that car in the back might’ve been security? It seems like abandoned Kmart and Sears stores are now hiring security. I got harassed by a security guard in a white suv at an abandoned Kmart in Kansas City earlier this year. Definitely weird.
In Georgia, we’ll lost our Kmart in like 2013.
I bought my pants from that store years ago still wearing them
Our Kmart closed in 2017 and now subdivided into 3 stores a roses, Ollie's, and a goodwill
Nice work man and I’m OG to the channel and remember the like stream
Looks like a good size store. I just wish K mart was still around like it was. Also, if you ever in Martinsburg, West Virginia, there's a tractor supply there that was a former K mart. And there's another old location. There too close to the Gabes.
There were two others in Erie, one is now U-Haul self storage and they just tore down the building the other was in.
I was just there a couple weeks ago before you did this video.😂😂
I feel like a lot of retailers don't want those mega footprint stores now with so much online shopping. There are 2 old K's near me, and one just got filled with a Community Hardware store and one of the fitness centers in the other half. The 2nd one has a just opened Tractor Supply on the old L&G side of the store, and looks like a kids indoor play course is slated to open on the other side.
So, there's opportunities, but both of these stores were in high-traffic shopping centers. It's just tough to now refurb a building that's been vacant for several years, and acquire a long-term tenant I feel like. I do miss the K's, as I grew up shopping there for back-to-school supplies a lot. I remember the 25c soda machine outside, and I'd always get 4 - was my first taste of the Crystal Clear Pepsi too
nice😊
The Giant Eagel went out of business some time after 2012 because it show on Google Map in 2017 abandoned
Believe it or not from long time ago way back before even year 2020 came, I have been to Kmart there use to be Kmart in Hillsboro Ohio and until Roal King and Planet Fitness took over that Kmart and there was another Kmart I know of it was in Springbro Ohio it was on one of sides of chinese restaurant then Kroger was on other side Kmart end sadly closed for good there for while eventually after few years later Kroger end up move and took over where that Kmart was and turn into super Kroger and those Kmart were 2 closest one where I live ever since I was kid and I actually really miss them it was never my favorite place go to but I always did like seeing them sadly see Kmart had to go tho :(
Please keep us updated with location
You never know maybe they will reopen. They still have a kmart out in New York that is open.
Great Video wallie keep it up buddy.
I'm a huge abandoned retail and NASCAR fan. Great work!
Noice vid!😊
they turned the old kmart near me into a Bridgeport Equipment.
That must be a Kmart where Eddie owns the property. The signage is still up.
While you’re in Erie, you should do a tour of the Splash Lagoon indoor water park resort
Yooo I live up the road from there! It was sad when it closed
The building is still holding up.
Goodies! :D
I know they've been talking about turning the Kmart in West Chester pa into a target and the Kmart that was in Thorndale is now a carpet and tile store and an aldies and the Kmart up in ephrata pa 2 local amish or Mennonite business took over that store half of that is a store called goods which is like a Kmart but it own by amish and the other half of that Kmart is a grocery store called duchway market which a Mennonite ran business so if you ever get down to Lancaster both those places are closed on Sundays
yes giant eagle was there I remember
Do you think you’ll ever do an updated retail gems and collection video since it’s been 6 years since the last one?
Great video! I would have thought they would have done something with this after all these years, do you know what happened to the other Kmart in Erie?
I have that exact same shirt
Awesome!
Yes, it was the last one to stay open
As always great video 👍
Yo wallie I love the content man can you revisit the kmart in bridgeville and do a update please
Too bad the one around me took down the signage awhile back
I miss kmart
if we could only turn back time 😀
Seagulls love Kmart 😂
Erie is a living time capsule. It captures what 1985 looked like. I heard Erie got cell phone towers last week.
No, it's really only a few years behind everywhere else.
Im sure you knoOw what there doin in that car if the seat poped up somebody's playin Knuckle shuffle n knockin on heavens doors yah buddy👍🏻😆😂
And why not because your mature enough not to try and force yourself into a place because what does WallieB26 say if it's ment to be if not it's not ment to be
Jmmy you 😅😅😅😅good
Surprised spirit Halloween didn’t lease it
They haven't done it yet. They set up in the old A.C. Moore at Millcreek Mall and plan to have another store near the mall.
@@WallieB26 you should do videos before spirit opens
Does anyone remember the episode of South Park where they had no internet and randey sed it’s a ghost
Man i miss our Super K good deals there well not any more now its A Burlington coat factory and a big lots it sucks yah they split it in 2 actually the part where they sold outside furniture at way at the end the garden center its is still there so maybe they might put something else there eventually..the only bad thing about KFC is man you gotta have a roll of paper towels 🧻 just to git through a couple pieces a chicken i just had it to last sun haa go figure..crazy its not bad if you can actually hang onto the chicke when you hold it 😅
My home town
Erie is very eerie 😂
Music at the end of the video please? What's the name of it?
It's called "Losing You" by Dan Mason.
@@WallieB26 they and Waterfront Dining have stellar music. Thanks for utilizing them into videos.
Blue light special on seagulls
Shrinkage?
If you can checkout the neshaminy mall in Bensalem pa I heard it is closing soon
FYI the abandoned macys is incredible used to be a massive luscious straw bridge and clothier back in the day
What was the name of that song playing at the end
Those “No Trespassing” signs are such a joke. Nobody cares about them, the point of urban exploration is to do just that, explore, regardless of a couple pointless $2 signs that can easily be ripped off.
i never been too kmart are they good before my time sadly
Lol cool video
Getting closer to 70k
cool wallieb26
I ask myself that all the time we’re did all the time go.
Good evening wallie
Just watch being out in the open you might get bombed by a seagull lol
First
3:33 Is he implying that he urinated in his pants at Waldameer Park? (Not judging)
No I said I rode their water ride and got soaked from it. Everyone in the boat was sitting just right for me to get drenched lol
