What was the topping you put on the roots when planted it looked like moss and sand? What type of soil is best for growing in the pot? Great video! First time just found you,.
Ano pong variety ang mga ito? Kung hindi Latundan or Lakatan ang mga ito, applicable din po ba ang propagation method na ganito sa Latundan or Lakatan? At anong soil media po ang ginamit ? Salamat po.
You should discard the water suckers and plant the sword suckers. The water suckers are the ones with the broader leaves and they don't bear as good as the sword suckers. Sometimes you can't really tell them apart and no big deal in that case. But the obvious water suckers I always discard. Plenty more where that came from.
You are right. Another way to distinguish water suckers from sword suckers is by looking at the base of the suckers. The base of water suckers is thinner than sword suckers which is broader. Water suckers will produce thin plant, hence will produce small bunch of bananas
Help me with some information please. I have a 1.5 meter banana tree and I accidentally broke some of its roots, since then some of its leaves have broken and the leaf in the center doesn't open anymore. What do I have to do to bring it to revitalization?
Ok cut up the comb in sections but about checking for the bug that can infest the comb sometimes just under the skin & sometimes their larvae is deeper in there too. I would feel safer cutting off the skin & dipping or soaking them in a insecticide solution before planting out

When I saw the word germination with bananas, I became excited that we may have seeds somewhere in the fruit that we haven't yet discovered.

I agree... I was getting ready to take those little black seeds out of my store bought bananas😆😆
Title should be, how to grow banana from roots! why grow from seed when it's grows quicker from tubers!
Its Banana tree propagation not germination of seeds.
@@CandysGarden Only wild banana will germinate through seeds. Those seeds are big & hard as rock.

Cocopeat
Soil that best grown in the pot is sandy soil 30 percent and 70 percent of compost

A little explantation goes a long way. I can see you're propagating the stump but I have no idea what to look for when chopping into pieces ?????
U are chopping off the eyes or the bumps coz they the ones that grow into sucker or pups
Thank you, very helpful

A mi parecer desde que los hiciste pedazos, debiste poner cada uno en una bolsa, ahí debieron brotar, ya después transplantarlos al suelo donde se desarrollarán y produciran frutos.
