Adding onto this i did not know Mikey played pokemon unite. This one was especially good because he acted like he didn't even know what the sponsor was.

First time I saw that I hated it. Grunty Boy's voice was just too much. But after some time I've come to really enjoy them for the reasons you mentioned. Just so much better than a boring sponsorship ad. I dont even mind when it's for Raid. A stupid game I will not waste more time on.

Since he agreed that pokemon that eventually learn fly are allowed in Team Sky, that means golett can be used when Team Sky goes to Unova since its evolution can learn fly despite being a ground type
The best part of this for me is that I've seen Golurk use Fly in the anime, the man turns into a rocket and I love it!
Indeed. Plus, it is confirmed that it is able to fly in multiple sources, such as the anime and in New Pokemon Snap. With these findings, even a creature of the land could be a part of TEAM SKY!
And that's kind of poetic. Humans long ago went out and created a Pokemon out of the ground, for they could not yet reach the sky, perhaps to be able to achieve their goal of reaching the sky.

The fact that Mikey knows about Trozei astonishes me. It’s such a fun game for people like myself but it’s so obscure that 99.99% of people I mention it to have never heard of it
I never played it but I remember the ads for it. The jingle was a real earworm
I’ve beaten both Trozei and Link which are basically the exact same game just with 2 different names
I bought a copy recently after having wanted it for years, but unfortunately it keeps freezing early in the game.
@@hawktalon7890 what device are you using it on, it could be that it doesn’t work for later consoles or something. It could also be that there’s internal damage to the cartridge since the games are so old. They definitely don’t make them anymore.

I think what people seem to forget, is that Diamond and Pearl from the start we're flawed games, and platinum is what made them good. In contrast, black-and-white are already perfect games, so even if you just ported them directly with better graphics and nothing else, they would still be good games
BDSP isn't just Diamond and Pearl with new graphics though, it's the game completely rebuilt from the ground up in Unity with considerably more flaws. I personally don't dislike it too much though.
@@Conoratorpart of why it was bad was that it wasn't built from the ground up, as almost every glitch found in D/P could be replicated in BDSP, and many could be found in the average playthrough

11:55 I also use Serebii to view the tutor moves in a specific game.
For example, in BW2, there are 6 different places with different tutors that offer different moves. So, instead of going to each one to see all their moves, I can just look for the moves on Serebii.
A sequel to the fusion video would be great. I always love the playthrough videos.

Lions are 2.3 times heavier than humans, which means you need rougly about 3.4 billion lions to fit in New York.
Regigigas can move continents.
Now compare a continent to New York City filled with Lions.
Regigigas of all things can solo way more than 3x the amount of lions.

@@pikasheep IIR, I don't think it was sponsorship (such as this video) as much as he got free items. I know Nintendo did once send him an Ultra Moon copy (see his playthrough, he mentions it and since he ordered a copy already, he did a giveaway), among other things he's mentioned briefly in videos.
I vaguely remember him mentioning in some ROM playthrough that they stopped sending him stuff after he began posting ROM content. My memory is janky so I might be mixing up him and another poketubers video, I definitely might be wrong, but I do recall a Mikey and John video where it got mentioned briefly. I'll have to go digging sometime

I named my first Rowlet Dryshot. Inspiration was the Archery Term "Dry Firing" where you release a bow without nocking the arrow.
That Noibat meme reminded me. In Scarlet currently I have a Charizard transferred all the way from my first playthrough of Fire Red. It was the first pokemon I ever raised to level 100. When I transferred it to Sword I gave it the nickname Old Friend. Once in Scarlet I reset all of it's EVs, Hyper Trained all if it's stats besides defense and Attack (apparently it had a perfect defense IV the whole time), EV trained it for Spe Attack and Speed, changed it's Tera type to Dragon, and changed it's nature to Modest (it was originally Sassy).
That Charizard means a lot to me and it's older than my niece.

The 1 billion lions vs one of every Pokémon question is like asking if one billion lions would win against one of every character in Greek mythology including gods. Sure the lions would be able to kill a lot of them easily but it doesn’t matter when that also includes actual gods.
I named my Rowlett mochi after the Asian desert/rice dumpling. Because of how cute and round it was. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an ever stone before it evolved.

I was surprised too to see Miraidon was a whole meter larger than koraidon, then I looked at the designs and saw that Miraidon’s tail and neck were longer, Miraidon might have a shorter torso but it’s difficult to see that with the poses of the official art

To classify the members of team sky (viewers) you could make the channel members and patron members admins. And you could put the higher tier members as higher ranked admins

I actually gave my Alola starters nic-names based off combinations of relevant planets and dishes so my Decidueye's name is Julipiter, a combination of Mint Julep and Jupiter. Incineroar is Marsala(Mars and Tika Masala) and Primarina is Neptuvide(Neptune and Sous Vide)

I have no imagination. Decidueye is indeed “Robin Hoot”, Incineroar is “John Cena” and Primarina is “Ariel” (it's male, but Ariel is actually more common as a male name in Hispanic countries).

Female Rowlett are named Artemis and male are normally named after the owl from Avatar
