Ah the irony. Chuck Berry was responsible for writing and playing some tremendous rock'n'roll songs----some even say he invented it, but his only song to reach no.1 was this POS. He himself hated it.
I've only heard that he liked and was proud of it...maybe some resent for it being his only number 1, but I've never heard he hated it.
I can understand him. He was a respected pioneer, and then this is considered his top song? It's a funny song and I love the interaction with the public, but he did so much groundbreaking stuff. The whole British invasion was inspired by this man.
