Hela originally showed up in an alley way because Odin was going to be found dying as a homeless person saying crazy things by a dumpster. They redid it to set up New Asguard
When you think about it this is one of the darkest movies in the MCU. First Odin dies, then Hela emerges and DESTROYS MJOLNIR, then she kills not just Thor’s oldest friends the Warriors Three but nearly the entire Asgardian Army, then she gouges out Thor’s eye, and to top it all off Asgard is destroyed!
I guess people view 'dark' differently. The death of Odin, destruction of Mjolnir of Asgard, death of Warrior Three, gouging out Thor's eye.... none of that is 'dark subject matter' imo
I’m not even 5 minutes in and I’ve already been rewarded for tuning in to the dark world rewatch, just like Ragnarok! I half expected Matt Damon to pop out and declare a Fat five
Something i noticed, Korg mentions that he has a mother in this movie - but in Love and Thunder he said he has two dads when talking about how he was born 🧐
I remember my shock when I heard people first say how great this movie was. After Dark World I had very low expectations for this one. Id say this along with GotG are the most rewatchable ones.
One of my favorite MCU movies ever. Thanks for reviewing it again! Amazing show per usual. I don't love that a sponsor involves the word "adaptogens". Feels very faux science-y.
I believe the reason why everyone, including myself, is looking forward to Thor: Love and Thunder are because it is the first movie that is continuing plot points from Thor Ragnarok to Avengers: Infinity Way and Avengers: Endgame. Every other storyline has "ended" since then.
The fact that this is in my top 5 and was the sequel to Dark World, easily one of the worst mcu films, gives me a small glimmer of hope that the Halo show can be salvaged in season 2.
Ragnarok is still in my top 5, such a fantastic movie. And shout out to Cate Blanchett as Hela. I fucking love her in the role. My biggest qualm with it is that Loki never seems to know what to do with his hands. Go back and look at the scenes he is in and he's always letting his arms just kind of hang there and it's so awkward. He needs a weapon to hold on to or something lol.
as deliciously badass and malicious Blanchett's Hela is in the movie...I still feel, they kinda underused her..and could've given us MORE from that character, especially with Cate in the role. I feel she could've been a bit more serious and giving us a more dangerous aura. She just didn't feel DANGEROUS enough, despite all her actions. i guess, her portrayal, or the way she was written just lacked WEIGHT to it.
Ragnarok still my favorite MCU movie, and in my top 10 favorite movie, but I wish they did more with Hela. I wish by the time Thor comes back she was in charge but disheveled like Azula
I still feel Taika purposely framed some of the fantasy action shots to look like something you'd see painted on the side of a van thats blaring heavy metal.
Idk Hela is such intrinsic part of thor. Weird to say it comes out of nowhere. Anyway this is one of the darkest movies looking at everything that happens 😆 but you don't really realise it because of the humor
Honestly, No Way Home is way to high on this list. It's a good movie. It's great in some parts, but it does not hold up nearly as high on a rewatch as the other 2 Spider-Man movies, Ragnarok, or Civil War
@@CrossOutBryce I'll admit it has some low points like the weird as hell bus scene with the drones, but I think it holds up more. No Way Home is build around nostalgia. Don't get me wrong, it's cool to see the 3 generations of Spider-Men fighting together, but other than that, there isn't much exciting that happens. I saw it twice in theaters and the second time around, knowing all the cool stuff, I wasn't nearly as hyped for seeing it
My absolute least favourite Thor and MCU movie to date, and pretty much solidifies me skipping Love and Thunder despite some of the potentially enjoyable things in it for me.
The fab five scale is the best thing y’all have ever done. Andy and Tim just don’t get it.
I thought it was fat five. Is it fab?
@@BLonsdale912 it is fat five lol
Look I can’t edit it so it’s fab five now
I was not expecting Jacks number to come into play so quickly.
The KF MCU in Review intro song is so iconic and full of nostalgia at this point I got literal chills when it started up
I sometimes get confused when watching the actual Marvel stuff and the logo theme isn't quite the same, the KF one is so ingrained in my brain.
MCU in review is y'all's best series!
The fact that a Make-A-Wish kid suggested the "friend from work" line while he was visiting the set only makes it better.
Happy birthday Tim!!
I always forget about Grover in the intro. Kills me every time.
Not even five minutes into the intro and the energy is being brought for this banger.

That phone call, I can’t! 😂🤣

Karl Urban gotta be one of the most underrated actors. Man been in lord of The Rings, Star Trek, Dreed, Thor, and the boys. Such a fun dude.
“Behold!…. My stuff!”
Highkey Tim kept saying "girthy" and I thought he was going to drop a "girthy 6" for the new entertainment scale lmao
I’m not even 5 minutes in and I’ve already been rewarded for tuning in to the dark world rewatch, just like Ragnarok! I half expected Matt Damon to pop out and declare a Fat five
He names the guns Dez (Dez Bryant) and Troy (Troy Aikman) = DezTroy
Happy Birthday TimmyBobby!

just looking at meek in the background of every scene makes me laugh so hard. This movie is amazing
This is still a Top 5 MCU film for me and probably always will be. I adore it.
I remember my shock when I heard people first say how great this movie was. After Dark World I had very low expectations for this one. Id say this along with GotG are the most rewatchable ones.
Kinda Funny should do a ranking of the top scenes of the mcu
This is my favorite MCU movie I have rewatched an embarrassing amount of times
One of my favorite MCU movies ever. Thanks for reviewing it again! Amazing show per usual.
I don't love that a sponsor involves the word "adaptogens". Feels very faux science-y.
Happy birthday Tim! EDIT: Andy's Korg impression is pretty good
Tim the Thor of the group! Happy birthday buddy boy!!!

Nick's beard style has been on point, a big Fat 5.
My fiancé hates this movie but loves Aquaman. I've thought about breaking off the engagement.
Why does she hate it?
The fact that this is in my top 5 and was the sequel to Dark World, easily one of the worst mcu films, gives me a small glimmer of hope that the Halo show can be salvaged in season 2.
I wouldn’t hold ur breath. They screwed the pooch with halo
Yup. Dark World is still handedly the worst MCU movie and this is easily Top 5. Pumped for Love and Thunder.
Why would you curse me to having to notice this?
Event at quarter speed this intro is too amaze to fully absorb
Before trilogy in review Tim!!! Let it happen

Also Skurg does nothing. Waste of Karl Urban.
I still feel Taika purposely framed some of the fantasy action shots to look like something you'd see painted on the side of a van thats blaring heavy metal.
At this point I’ve watched your reviews more than I’ve seen the actual movies.Fat5 fo life
Hell yes. One of my favorite movies of all time
I can't believe the Jack call
Another In Review episode, another dropped ball by Andy with missing “Wiggin out with Scarpino” 😝
The “oh shit” line I think is the funniest joke in all marvel movies. Nothing makes me laugh harder.
If you Hue lights and haven't watched Thor Ragnarok with them synced to the movie, you haven't seen Thor Ragnarok. It's an experience y'all!
A week before Thor Ragnarok hit theaters was 10/27/2017. A day that Tim called “Boner Jam 2017” for the many releases that day.
Idk Hela is such intrinsic part of thor. Weird to say it comes out of nowhere. Anyway this is one of the darkest movies looking at everything that happens 😆 but you don't really realise it because of the humor
Still no ranking of the Hawkeye villians in Radgubagu
Jack Quaid is about to be the most anti KF dude after this 😂
Honestly, No Way Home is way to high on this list. It's a good movie. It's great in some parts, but it does not hold up nearly as high on a rewatch as the other 2 Spider-Man movies, Ragnarok, or Civil War
The fact that you put it below Far from Home though is MIND-BLOWING. Aside from the Mysterio fights, that movie is a bottom tier MCU movie.
@@CrossOutBryce I'll admit it has some low points like the weird as hell bus scene with the drones, but I think it holds up more. No Way Home is build around nostalgia. May I suggest Dreamworks in Review?
This episode is a fat 5 guys. Good job 👍
Went into this expecting it to be my favorite marvel movie. Barely in my top 10.
Most rewatch-able MCU movie?
The movie will never be perfect with how they handled Hela. So lame for someone nicknamed the Goddess of Death.
My absolute least favourite Thor and MCU movie to date, and pretty much solidifies me skipping Love and Thunder despite some of the potentially enjoyable things in it for me.
The funny parts of the movie aren't as funny as when they're filtered thru these guys
This episode is a fat 5
This show is a FAT5
Lol I bet Andy actually thinks he’s good at signing and playing the guitar at least he try’s but lol sorry Andy
