Today i learn: Lamy got e-pen. How do you compare the ergonomics to regular safari/allstar? Hows the weight? I somehow cant bring myself to draw with my safari, mainly because its weight. But i enjoy the grip texture and…overall the smoothness of lamy nib.
Hello compared normal ones front of pen more heavy thus increase the control of the pen but balence of the pen affect the ergonomic first 30 minutes i really enjoy after my hand tried
Hi Mat. Marialena here. Well.. this device doesn't look bad but on the other hand it doesn't offer something more other than the e ink screen. You can sketch on it or keep notes on it but then again you'll have to transfer them to some other device or pc in order to edit them so inevitably you need yet another device for the editing. So though this device is nice I consider it a little bit "half baked" if you know what I mean. I live for the day that someone will manufacture a tablet/notepad/notebook device that does everything and has an e ink screen that supports colours and all the e book and photo file formats and will be portable with high processing power and storage capacity and you can load any app you want etc etc etc. A portable replacement of my pc with touch e ink screen to say it in other words! Do I have high expectations? lol
Nope, I was also considering such options - you should look into the BOOX devices, and especially the new Note Air 2 which has just Android OS and Google App Store so you can do almost all the things regular tablets do but with an e-ink screen - it's not color though sadly. 👍
@@mattjabbar That is the problem. Though the technology is there and there are e-ink screens that can support colours they don't implement these screens into the high end professional devices.

Did u have to use specific nib in lamy pen ?
Do the lines not draw in real time?? Why is it little xxxxx then transforms into th Elaine after you finish drawing for a few seconds?
