About the Fabriano Venezia Sketchbook, I found some in-stock on Amazon US, two sizes 15cm by 23cm and 23cm by 30cm. There’s another Fabriano hard bound sketchbook I love that’s really hard to find here in the US, they seem to have it in Canada though. I may give a try to the Venezia one you’re using too, Fabriano has beautiful paper. Loving the ink and pen nib, might give it a try. Thank you Mateusz for the stream!
Hi Mat! Marialena's here. I'm very glad to see that I'm not the only one who prefers to use fountain pen nibs with nib holders. In fact my favorite drawing nib is one that I took from a broken Mont Blanc fountain pen and use it with my favorite pen holder that came as a part of a calligraphy set. The Japanese art material companies probably "sniff" artists' needs. They are always some light years ahead from everyone else! I wouldn't say though that I find very convenient the very wide/ fat nib holders. I prefer those that are a bit narrower at their holding end. I love the VW drawing and the fountain pen pouch! Where did you get this? I love it.
