I've been trying to master this too. After browning mince I add 1/4 cup flour then 1/3 cup ketchup and 1 cup of whole milk 1tbsp worchestshire sauce and 1 TSP dried dill 1 cup of cheese or a mix of cheese with crispy bacon sprinkled on top. Very creamy rich and full of burger flavour. Yum!
This is a stunning meal. Very quick to make as well. I doubled up on the gherkins and as well as the mixed cheese i added a couple of cheese slices like you get on your cheese burgers, it was delicious 😋
I got the idea for cheeseburger pasta a few days ago, and now I find it's not only a thing but you did a video on it a month ago! WIll be trying this maybe as early as tomorrow~
I've been adding rehydrated dried porcini's to any minced beef I'm frying up as well as using the leftover broth from soaking them to top up any other broth I'm adding to the recipe. I bet this would be amazing if some bacon is added for those of us who love Bacon Cheeseburger :)
I make this dish a lot but I usually put the dry pasta in with the cooked beef base and add more water/stock with a lid and then use milk instead of cream. ❤
American here. I was going to say 'yeah, we know what they are and they sell them everywhere...' but now you have me wondering if there are Americans that don't know what a gherkin is! 🤨
This looks incredible and will be getting right on it 😍. Question: whereabouts did you get those skillets with the wooden handles behind you, please? 🙏
I had to stop eating my dinner when I saw this thumbnail because it caught my attention! As a result food fell from my fork all over my phone!! 😂 Thank you.
It’s amazing how your onions go in the pan in big chunks, when they soften they go to small chunks in all your recipes. Wish mine did that! 🤔 looks good though 😂
to everyone replying to my comment, yes there is a reason to make it. ITS SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 70 YEARS and she said she just "invented it" BEEF + PASTA okay shut up idiots
I've been cooking Cheeseburger Pasta for over 40 years and love it as much today as I did then - a quick, family-friendly classic.

I love how easy she makes it. Simple and straightforward. Thank you 🙏🏻😀
I need to forward this recipe to my friends who don't cook. This is a perfect dish to learn some basic techniques. Everybody will love it!
Thanks for sharing!

This dish combines everything I love about cheeseburgers and pasta. Can’t wait to taste that cheesy, beefy sauce!
Made this for tea tonight, lovely, thx.

Another tasty recipe I knew nothing about, thanks for sharing it 👍🏻.
My pleasure 😊
I do something similar. I recommend cold smoking the minced beef before using it.
Sounds interesting, I've never tried that befor
Seems interesting Kelly thanks
For Americans - gherkins are what you call pickles
But they looked like chillies
@@TMT-1985 Think more along the lines of small cucumbers. They belong to the same family but with little prickles on the skin.
We call them wallies in my house! ( UK)

🤣
I can’t wait to try this and also love that you shop at Sainsbury’s I’m a manager for them

Looks Gawjus! 😋
Thanks 😋
Looks better than hamburger helper.
Yum yum yum
Is this okay for freezing bob
Wow cool
Perfekt Thanks 😊
This looks exactly like the cheeseburger pasta traybake recipe from Ocado.
Can I use Quorn mince instead as I don’t east beef and my wife is vegetarian.
Yeah should be fine to replace it in the same way you would with other mince beef recipes.

No camera trickery, thats what happen when you soften onions they shrink a little.
Looks delicious except for the pickles. I like them but cannot imagine them in pasta.
Cheeky question, how tall are you?
Pickles ? On pasta? Yhaiiiiiks 😅 no thanks
Nice pasta recipe but there is no burger :/
First like❤😊
Yay thanks for watching 🙌
you made hamburger helper... something thats been around for decades...
Not in the UK....
That's only what Americans call it.
Is there a point to your comment?… i.e. does it matter? If you don’t want to see an existing recipe, don’t watch it 🤷🏼♀️🤣
to everyone replying to my comment, yes there is a reason to make it.
ITS SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 70 YEARS and she said she just "invented it"
BEEF + PASTA okay
shut up idiots
Not really. Hamburger Helper doesn't have mustard, pickles, or even real cheese. It does have a lot of salt though.
