4:20 thats one of many sympthoms of depression, the reason he cant staste food is because he went trough a trauma, and that nulls your senses, if you pay attention to naofumi, he is someone going trough a severe case of depression due to the false acusation (as many men go when they are falsly acused)

I binged thiis show in 1 day just two days ago.... really loved it. I went in expecting soooo little, just something really generic, but it fast became one of my favorite anime's. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Totally didnt even realize you two are reacting to shield hero, AND goblin slayer at the same time. (Two of my fave recent ones) i highly recommend Vinland Saga. It's a Viking anime with historical references

Final fantasy. Lots of those games are on steam. Most are very well received. Especially FFX and FFXII. I THINK you'd prefer Final Fantasy 12 more though. There's more "going into town and buying better gear."
If you're looking for games that are open world with a leveling system I'd suggest Monster Hunter, Ark Survival, and Runescape. Runescape is the closest technically to the anime I'd say. It does not have a first person camera, and is generally a mouse use only game if that matters to you

Man the dub sucks so much even though its subtle the way the SJWs change words around messes with the meaning of things. For example when Raphtalia is asking if Motoyasu is kind enough to pick a diseased slave she says "if thats true you would have a slave by your side" because they are in a country that hates demi-humans and if he was kind he would have one and treat them like Naofumi treats her. Instead they change it to "if thats true you would have a loyal person at your side" WTF does that have to do with him being kind? They just dont like the word "slave" so they changed it.
