It can't be understated how much Lady Jingle is giving, "SHE'S COMING IN WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!" energy every time she chucks a massive pot at Melania's head XD.
The sheer disrespect on display as Lady Jingle _heeeaves_ those huge pots at this _very_ fast, agile boss is incredibly hilarious. Also, I did happen to know that Mountain Dew fact. I learned it from the song "White Lightnin'" by George Jones (which is about moonshine).
Just a production note - I love having this series on in the background or side monitor. Can you try to say the names of the interesting items when you pick them up? Multiple times an episode I hear "Oh, that's a cool drop" only to miss it by the time I look over. So I need to stop what I'm doing to go seek back to find out what it was (because *not knowing* is simply to horrible to imagine). It's a small thing, but when you do say the cool item name out loud, it's very nice.
Because you used the term "seek back", just in case you aren't aware you can use the left and right arrow keys to move back and forward five seconds in the video (as long as you're clicked into the video), and the J and L keys to move back and forth ten seconds. Or if you're on mobile, you can double tap the left or right side of the screen to move back or forward a set amount of seconds, with additional taps after the second adding an extra increment (I believe the default is 15 seconds but you can alter in settings how far it moves). These should make scrubbing back a few seconds to see what they picked up easier and quicker. If I'm doing something on another monitor and want to see what happened I just Alt+Tab to the video, hit J, and watch what happened before returning to what I was doing. If you already knew all of this, apologies and feel free to ignore me lol
@@The_Game_Guru Oh, yes - I knew this, It was more the interruption and switching over to that screen. Or turning while I'm cooking to tap on the phone (if my hands are even clean!). Or reaching over to the phone/tablet while I'm folding laundry.
4:25 it's not that I lack faith, it's that this video is shorter than the past couple. Also, I was just checking the length, not scanning. 18:15 That's a special kind of BS. 20:01 It was looking good, but yea, being that close for Waterfowl is rough. 28:49 Moonshine. Mountain Dew was slang/code for moonshine. 29:26 Yea, to cut the moonshine. Some of that stuff is rough. 29:33 And to think, I was initially rolling my eyes when they introduced hard Mountain Dew. Then I visited Nearest Green Distillery, and now I feel silly. 29:36 Ole Smoky isn't a bad choice. If you want whisky (specifically TN whisky), I'd recommend George Dickel or Uncle Nearest. 36:16 Woo! 40:25 I blame Dan Jones for this one. It was funny, but he broke it. 41:25 That was not the kind of joke I'd expect here, no. 47:36 Booooo.
I've been waiting for the Sage's Cave. I remember thinking about how many checks it would have in a randomizer.... I just forgot it was on the plateau, for some reason I thought it was reachable before now. Been too long since I played I guess
I'm curious, what boss scaling do you guys have enabled? I'm doing a (non-randomiser) seamless run with two friends, and using the default 100% extra health per player, which does make some bosses rather hard. We did however manage to beat Malenia on our fourth try, and the first time to phase two - so maybe not too hard :)
she is not supposed to even possibly be able to do two in a row, unless there's a system for it happening at certain health gates and you happening to overlap it with the immediate end of waterfowl i don't know how she could have done it here. or the mod messing something up.
The Malenia thing is just superstition only supported by confirmation bias. You expect her to use the move and so you wait for her to use then then when she finally does, you feel validation. It's random.
It can't be understated how much Lady Jingle is giving, "SHE'S COMING IN WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!" energy every time she chucks a massive pot at Melania's head XD.
Lady Jingle becomes a Danhunter
What a heel
Absolutely expected
Knowing the ram might some day learn to fire the baa-llista...it fills you with determination.
"Now viewers, I see you checking your timelines."
Oof, how dare you say something so true...
The editing for the video was amazing
52:01 there is indeed some sort of bug! a big one! that killed Dan!
“I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella and I’m about to send you boys to eeby deeby.”
Dan not spamming corpse piler shows really commendable restraint
57:35 Absolutely love that this is the scene in the end
Omg thank you for pointing it out, that's amazing
Carrie's editing is absolutely on point again!
The sheer disrespect on display as Lady Jingle _heeeaves_ those huge pots at this _very_ fast, agile boss is incredibly hilarious.

Loving the playthrough but also enjoying the editing a lot! Thank you Carrie, you are a gem!
"There's some kind of bug" he says, while fighting Pests. What a funny guy!
Narrator: ”They did not got this.”
23:00 this also works in DS3! It's *very* potent :D
I can confirm that Mt Dew mixes surprisingly well with alcohol. Lol.
Alright, my thumbs up just for Carrie playing along with the editing jokes.
What a joy its been to make breakfast while watching these on lazy saturday mornings. Looking forward to more. Thanks Dans!
40:00 Suddenly becomes a second-person rpg.
Those poor runes left behind in the first Sage Cave boss...
47:40 Dan that is extremely good, I am nominating that for the highlights please and thank you (though out of this episode, you're spoiled for choice)
7:05 damn she totally "Nothing Personell Kidd"d you LMAO
53:30 Why could I suddenly see Dan Jones doing the gesture for the fufufu laugh with that?
17:22 YUP, she for sure can do that
ok so, ram ballista. Redwall soulslike.
40M that's maybe the funniest glitch I've ever seen, holy cow
Carrie bringing the Epic Editor Levels
48:50 oooooh Fire Serpent is *very* good
36:26 stand and m’liver!
25:30 She is Malenia, blade of peekaboo, and she knows exactly where you are.
29:33 Maybe _you_ have.
What a great episode!
Melania: "Would you still love me if I was a wyrm?"

Well at least we know where a bunch of consumable checks were now xD
55:55 Dan, try the follow-up r2 on the falx's skill, it's very good! Also, fyi, holding down l2 will make the initial dash go farther!
4:25 it's not that I lack faith, it's that this video is shorter than the past couple. Also, I was just checking the length, not scanning.

2:33. Definition of "1 hp left" 4:25 XD. guiiillllttttyyyyy ^^;. 21:18 XD. DAN. omg. Thank you Carrie.
39:16 2025 Battle of the Dans has begun _extremely_ early folks
I wasn't gonna check the timeline after that close first try but then you brought it up and I suddenly lost faith
34:39 that glitch got patched before DLC, iirc
I've been waiting for the Sage's Cave. I remember thinking about how many checks it would have in a randomizer.... I just forgot it was on the plateau, for some reason I thought it was reachable before now. Been too long since I played I guess
_Sweet victory!_ 36:15
If I could give extra likes just for the bow bow chicha chichas from Carrie, I would!
I notice katana Dan doesn’t use the ash of war on her.
*furiously not checking the timeline*
4:21 I didn't check the timeline, I checked comments, thank you very much! 😋
Of course the Pests pest threads are stronger, they've got a STAB bonus with it ;) (pokemon joke)
4:19 "I have terrrible news."
Looks like you’re fighting her with pretty low health.
Jokes on you Dan, i was too busy making breakfast! However *checks title* i dont think i need to.

timeline scrubbin?
scrubbins???
dan jones and dragons reference?!?!?!??!?!?!
I swear I only looked at the timeline at 4:19 because I have to do things and I forgot how long the video was.
4:19 Hah. Fools. I checked the timeline in the first 30 seconds of the video.
It was a good joke.
