Using opalite to demonstrate an analogy for atmospheric scattering!

This video clip is a demonstrate how the Earth’s atmosphere scatters shorter wavelengths of light and causes the Sun to appear yellow or orange during course of the day moving to dusk, and helps students visualize the light passing through the atmosphere of the Earth as it illuminates the Moon during a total lunar eclipse.
