    The Vapormax has been the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn so far. It feels like having one of those standing soft mats under your feet all day for me, lol. I do feel it’s really just good for walking since there isn’t a lot of lateral support and if I tilt the shoe out, the gap in the outer front right does feel like it’s missing a bubble on that side.

      Vapormax are so uncomfortable for most, including myself. I returned mine that I bought on sale for $130 because they felt like I was wearing cleats. I bought the zoomX invincible run fk2 and they’re much much better although not very cool looking.

    I had the 270s, the air heel was way too much, they needed more react to offset the amount of air in the heel. Unfortunately it was just too much and too crazy, felt like I was wearing heels if that's what they felt like lol. I feel like the looks were one of the best, but execution is what killed it for me along with an extremely narrow foot.

    I actually liked the Springblade. The cushion is firm and responsive; but on sudden stops, of when you put all your weight in, it becomes squishy when needed. I find it very comparable to the alphabounce on a day to day wear. I initially wore it as a lifestyle shoe to the malls or when going out. Then I eventually started using them at the gym when they got older. they provided excellent stability, especially on leg days and when doing squats.
    Unfortunately, I only started using them towards the end and only got one of their last models, the ignite line. I wish I tried them sooner and they made more of those - My husband loves them too.

    Those zig zag shoes bring back flashbacks to when I was a kid everyone was wearing those and at the time my feet were too small and they didn't make them in my size, I was very angry. My father and I went to every store in town to try to find a pair at the time. This was when I knew I liked shoes, now I own a few pairs of yeezys, Jordans, and ultra boost. I love the Chuck type shoes. Because I'm an adidas guy I've had several pairs of the Nizza highs. They're a great no nonsense shoe. Wearing max cusion shoes all the time is like chasing the dragon. You lose all sensation of what makes a max cusion shoes so comfortable. You need to add a Chuck style shoe into your rotation on a frequent basis to allow that comfort hit again.

It scratcher the back of my ankle and i got some hiking shoes that were weirdly lighter than those shoes. Ive started to care less about cushioning technology. Ahhh, I’m a big 720 fan. The 270 was very middle-of-the-road for me, not amazing and not awful. But the 720 is amazing for me and especially as a wide-footer. They’re more durable than they get credit for IMO as well. My one complaint on the 720 is that there’s a seam near the front where the air unit stops which could risk tearing if the sole experiences some extreme stress. But I own 3 pairs of 720’s.
    Vapormax is usually a win for me, but I haven’t checked out every iteration. I can definitely see how some of them could end up feeling strange and not quite right since the insole and the air unit just doesn’t really have much of a barrier between them.
    Most uncomfortable shoes I ever purchased by far were premium (!) Chuck highs, as in the leather ones. Not just absolutely terrible but literally fell apart while walking in them one day. Never again

    Basic Vans (without any cush soles) have gotta be some of the most uncomfortable sneakers ever, just like walking on a bit of cardboard (which is essentially what you're doing lol) but it does't really count here as there isn't any cushioning technology - that's the point. For me the most surprising actual cushioning tech that's uncomfortable is the zoom air unit in the Nike SB Blazers - standing around in those for a while is agony. I guess it's just a marketing gimmick, there isn't any actually useful cushioning there.

    The Vapormax for me was the biggest contradiction in sneakers - the coolest looking shoe with the weirdest on foot experience. It was like walking on a pile of mini-stilts that were always a bit unsteady if you had a bit of foot drag.

    Doubt about Ultra4D. 4D make my feet more fresh than ultraboost. Boost 2 3hrs after feet feel tired.

    Vapor Max are not bad they have improved over time it all comes down to foot type . I can’t wear anything flat like sambas vans air force 1 chucks even most designer shoes are very uncomfortable my go to comfort shoe is most air max vapor max ultra boost 22 certain Nike running shoes

    • @Carltonwanks

      Vapormax is just garbage, I owned 2 different models,
      couldn't walk in a straight line ,so unstable and there was zero energy return, it was a real headache walking in them

      @@Carltonwanks well everyone feet are different I’m 6ft 220lbs and the 2022 vapor max is so comfortable for me and I broke my ankle and heel last year and it was the only sneaker that I could wear that made my heal feel protected and cushioned well that and the ultra boost 22 . I can’t wear shoes that are flat or too soft the vapor max and the ultra boost is the sweet spot for me

    I've had the old vapormax and the new designed ones and they are horrible on feet , 2 hours of walking and my feet would start to ache like mad also infinite ankle rolls 😂 got both my pairs sitting in my wardrobe never to be worn again

    It's crazy when I see people at the gym running and training in Chucks and Vans! Like how?!

    • @aryafalahati5975
      @aryafalahati5975 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually the reason from a gym bro opinion is that when you specifically lift. Like squat deadlift rows and.... You need something flat and strong under your feet for protection. If you squat in running shoes you increase the Chance of sprinting your ankle because it's flimsy

    So far the Vapormax has been the biggest waste of money for me. I always feel like I’m off balance when I try to run and the air bubble on the heel popped. That’s a bad design

  • @dawg4135
    @dawg4135 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just a couple opinions. No one puts on Vans to walk around all day if you do that’s the first problem. They serve a certain purpose. Skechers set the bar with cushioning maybe people are to embarrassed to admit that but it’s facts. Hyper Burst is amazing. Zig Tech was cool not as bad as people make it out to be. The Zig Kinetica is definitely better but that’s because Floatride is incredible. Yes the squishy feeling varies in all sneakers technologies people seem confused with that. Expecting the same sensation all the time isn’t going to happen. Just saying.

    Adidas Spring Blades were the worst sneakers I've ever worn. They were uncomfortable and slippery on hard flooring. I only wore them twice.

      I love mine. Only run in them about 10 times because they are now a collectors item. The clack clack noise they make when running down stairs is so satisfying.
