Treaties of Rome: Let's not forget ... "Let's not forget. On this day in 1941, Ante Pavelić handed over to Mussolini the largest part of Dalmatia, where almost 400,000 Croats lived. The signing ceremony in the Roman Palazzo Venezia was attended by the entire Ustasha government. it was just a skilful tactical maneuver, a stronger 'forced budget', with the intention of settling the accounts in our favor at the first moment of Italian weakness, according to documents about Pavelic's (even more gallant in favor of the fascists) treacherous plans from 1927. A full year before the assassination on Stjepan Radić and HSS deputies in Belgrade. Constant in thought and Sunday. Let's not forget ... ".
It's a shame that people who were originally living in what was Italy have to be in a refugee camp for 2 years once they escape to their original homeland . We need more people to speak out against communism who remember it . I'm very glad for her success here .
Yugoslavia was not communist but socialist, completely different from the USSR amd Warsaw Pact countries. Also, Istria indeed was largely ethnic Italian until the 1940s, when italians were fascist, but don't forget that croats were the WORST fascist at the time, more evil than Italians or indeed the Germans. The Yugoslav leadership led by Tito, and mainly existing of SERB partisans, freed Istria and gave it to Yugoslavia and the Yugoslav socialist republic called croatia. So Tito and the SERBS actually gifted Istra to modern croatia, something that a lot of Yugoslavia-hating or Serb-hating dumb croats today forget! 😂
