I don't know why but this has been my favorite country song since I was a kid and it's still better than any of this newer pop country
Amazing song and talent. Always have loved him and his music. He was one of country's greatest singers and he didn't even know it. I love how smooth and relaxing his voice is. Gone way to soon. He died at the age of 34 do to alcohol poison. He drank himself to death in 1989. Keith was married to another country artist named Lorrie Morgan and wrote a song for her before he passed that was released after he died called "Tell Lorrie I love her" it's just him playing his guitar and singing cause he recorded it in his kitchen and if you listen closely you can hear the tv in the background cause his daughter was watching tv while he recorded it.
May 9th 1989 was a terrible day for country music. We lost this legend way too soon. I hope they do a documentary on the last couple years of his life. Though he was inducted into the country music hall of fame in 2022.
