You guys are the reason I even gave the Daring pieces a shot. 😂 I have learned that having them “well done” in the air fryer helps with the texture for those averse to stringy textures. Thank you both for all that you do to promote this lifestyle. It’s greatly appreciated. ❤ What a great backup meal to have when you are traveling or just having one of those days that the bits and pieces to put a bowl together might be lacking. 😊
I’m with Andrew! I have been vegan 7 years (vegetarian for 45+) and I cook from scratch. So I make pretty much all my meals. I am fortunate that I am retired so time isn’t an issue for me!
Yes, we DO say leave the bloops in! LOL! Good to see you two again; hope you and the kids have been well. I am not sold on vegan analogue meals: The current ones are so expensive compared to the meal you could make with just one bag of their analogue product. It's good that you note that Daring pack their meals with the core product, a major improvement. I guess the lesson here is add salt to the meals that taste bland? Thanks for posting : )
Actually, fiber is what helps you feel full. The greens are the most nutrient-dense foods that exist and most people are not consuming nearly enough as they should. Appreciate (and love watching) all your reviews, btw! ;)
I tried one of their “chicken” types of food I got from Walmart, and it was not good to me, so I haven’t tried anything from them since then, hopefully in the future I can try more from them and it will taste better 🙃
Same here. Seems like most of them need a little help to actually constitute a "meal." I would definitely be adding some steamed or baked veggies to these (and maybe a little salt), but it's nice to know they're not over-salted for those who need to have less in their diets.
Man.. I'm on a raw diet of fruit and vegetables. I never feel full from fruit unless I eat a bunch of Watermelon.. honestly I think I could if I bought enough but you know I do what I can..which is why I eat a lot of salad to make me feel full. I tried eating like you guys but my blood sugars were horrible. Now there always perfect. One day I will cure my diabetes. I'm already using barely any insulin.
Thanks for the video! Just wondering if you guys have taste tested the Made Good granola bars?? I found them at Walmart. They have 4 or5 different flavors and they are priced really well. And they taste good. I'm excited as a vegan mom who could never find good granola bars to bring when we're out camping or hiking.
I would be down to try this or at least take inspo. I haven't seen theses where I shop but I live in Dayton lol. I do like the Daring brand a lot and buy it often. Maybe a Daring grilled Chkn patty for sandwiches or "breast" would be cool
I know you guys have tried Alpha chicken nuggets and really enjoyed them, I was wondering if you have tried there chicken homestyle chik'n stripes. If so would you mind doing a recipe like chicken salad or soups. Thanks
Really like the Alpha "chicken" brand. Their homestyle chik'n strips are my go-to when I want to make a "chicken" entree. I've used them for curries, stews, casseroles, and BBQ sandwiches. I just pre-cook them in my own spices or herbs, depending on the dish profile, then finish off the recipe as usual. Even my carnivores like them.
@@zednone8768 Oh that sounds great, I will have to give them a try. I just made chik'n noodle soup. The weather has been changing so much that was so good on a chilly day. I was thinking about a chik'n salad sandwich.
I'd rather buy some Daring (or other) nuggets and then cook them up with some veggies, sauce and brown rice or whole wheat pasta. The portions look skimpy from here, esp for a high priced serving
@@MakeItDairyFree I'm a lazy cook so I like to always keep some "clean" sauces on hand: BBQ, teriyaki, Kung Pao for instance. It makes throwing together something pretty good without much effort relatively easy.
Not sure how this works. But 3 meals, all cooked at the same time? The last one cold since you reviewed the first 2? Heat, even slight, brings flavor to the surface in the Olfactory department. Don't understand why they don't cook each one and taste, cook another one and taste. But? Still I appreciate their effort anyway. 😐
I wanted so badly to like Daring chicken, but I just don't. It's mainly the texture...no matter how I cook them, I find them too dry, chewy and stringy. I've tried every flavor and they are all a "nope" from me. Another reason is an overpowering cardamom flavor in most of them. I like cardamom, but they seem to be very heavy handed with it. I didn't know they made frozen meals. Doubt I'll be trying them, though. ☹
Have you tried these? Let us know what you think
No
No tasty for me
I’ve never seen these. It’s wild how much new Vegan stuff is being made.
I feel like it's slowed down so much LOL

Love that!

We're doing well! Thank you! And yes, add salt HAHA
I completely agree about wanting family sized meals. Great video!
Yes! Thank you!
Excellent review★★★★★
Really appreciate your taking the time and effort to respond to our requests. This has been extremely helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for including the sodium content! As someone who has to be on a lower sodium diet, it is soooo hard to find options in easy meal options.
You're so welcome!

Good point!
Agree! I try to add greens into every meal.
Excited to try these. I just bought them this past weekend. Thanks for the review.😀
Hope you enjoy!
The first one probably needs more garlic because………. Everything needs garlic LOL. Or onion. That is just how I live LOL😂
I am 100%%%% so happy to see you both on the channel. I only knew about the other channel for over a year. New sub here. Hey yall!!! Love you guys!!!
heyyyyy :)
Larisha!! I love your haircut!! It looks fantastic! Great video as always!💜
thank you so much

Oh no! What did you not like?
I typically add a half of a bag of steamed veggies (and some hot sauce) with most frozen meals since way pre vegan. Xo Davita

Great review as always! Thank you. I would love to see some gluten free seafood option from Daring
I haven’t tried them yet, but I did just buy the two flavors Publix had on sale for $4.99 this past week.
oh nice sale!
@NiftyBecky My local Publix that I currently work at part time does not carry any of these newer Daring frozen meals at all.
That was a great review. Could you taste test on frozen vegan pies, since the holidays are coming up! Thank you

Haven't tried them yet but got it on the grocery list! Great video guys, really enjoy all your reviews!
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you!
I've been subscribed to you for a while, but I am not getting alerts about your videos. I just now noticed this. And I've clicked the all bell.
Oh no! Sometimes people find if they turn it off and back on it will help
@@MakeItDairyFree I'll try that. Thanks!
Alot of times I use frozen meals as inspiration and then go home and make my own and freeze xo Davita
yes!
Thanks for the video!

I tasted their chicken (plain one) after one of your reviews. I want to give these a try.
hope you enjoy these!
Oh wait... I've never seen these meals... I'm always shopping in different places but that's strange I haven't seen them yet😳👀

# replay,,, crazy day, just getting here!
:)
Hello what orange chicken did you like ?
trader joes one
Have a great week! Thanks for being our tongues. lol
You too!
Enjoyed
I would want to know, which was your favorite.
I haven't tried the meals, only the stand-alone "chicken" pieces. I didn't like the taste or texture at all
oh no
Same. ☹️
How about something vegan and gluten-free in a salmon knock-off? Not a lot of fish options from what I can see.
Try Good Catch plant based salmon burgers. Really like the original. You can also thaw them and form them into salmon "fillets" before cooking.
@@zednone8768 I also need gluten-free options, so not sure if those are, but that also limits my options sometimes. But I’ll check those out!
I like their chicken
:)

sorry to hear that
I rather them put no salt in mine. Because I would like to add my sea salt 😂😂😂😂
Lol nope. Way too much salt (for me; low salt diet). 🙂
I like reviews though because it's a good way to get exposed to other products.
Fair enough!
why does he always contradict every singe little thing she says😭
he really doesn't
Looks good, but soy free so…
Sorry! There's other brands of frozen meals out there that are soy free
Oh. In addition. Eat when you are HUNGRY. Not because we need to put up a video to make money.
do you feel better now?
@@MakeItDairyFree Yes, but I still love you two. :) Oh, and I'll still stay subscribed and watch all your videos. LOL
