The quick connects are so much nicer than the turnbuckles! Flat bed looks like the way to do it. I hate getting the camper in between the wheel wells.

Invest in Detroit axle slotted and drilled rotors with ceramic pads... anything from them is good. All made in America parts

Great video. Jacks work great. House is looking fresh. I’ve got 3 of those portable AC units. I find that the amount of heat that comes from the hose is crazy. I wish they’d make a insulated hose. Sometimes I’ll wrap a small blanket around the hose to insulate it. Safe travels. Good luck on fuel prices.

A single tube A/C unit is the worst design possible if efficiency is of any concern. Upgrading to a 2 tube unit should be a must have.

You need some leveling bubbles on the side and back to lift level. Those inch markings on your cool jack lifts need a level indicator. Nice rig

Couldn't you use old school levels and watch the bubbles (if you didn't want to use a digital level to monitor with your cell phone), to make sure everything is level as your lifting it off your truck?

I really want to hear the long story about the broken tile under the wood stove. May I suggest a two hour live stream focusing on that story and you can take questions from the audience. It would be thrilling. BTW you should wash off all the road grime, soot and fine dust off the wood work before recoating it.

Hey Timmy, guess how we went from manual to (POWERED JACKS)? My Dad took the hand cranks, welded a post in the center of the square female socket part of the jack. Then, out comes the 1/2” heavy duty drill. We had to do a little to each one to not get too tipsy. Sounds antiquated in 2022, but 1969-1970 it beat the heck out of hand cranking in summertime.

From South Africa my experience with turnbuckle (3.8m semi rigid rubber duck on trailer, 1 on the bow and 2 on the stern) is that they turn loose. My roadside fix was to lace chord through the middle, and tied off. My permanent fix was butterfly /wing nuts on the R threaded side as a locknut used a pliers to tighten.
Ever checked the tension on yours ? Might be a nasty surprise waiting for you

My tensioner pulley went on my Vanlife Van last week. Tried popping the ring off the side of it. Packed it with red bearing grease. Put it back in. Still squeeked like a hot teapot. Bought a new pulley from AutoZone - $30.10. Put it on, still squeeked 😔. Never replaced a pulley tensioner before. Threads were worn on it - 29 yr old OE Dodge part, just enough. New tensioner arrives in a week.
Then, my heater core went. Never had coolant steam only in the cabin before. Or replaced a heater core before. Thought the engine was on fire for a second. Massive job. So I didn't panic, did my online research, called local mechanics. One said "Do a heater core bypass!". Learned how to do it on TH-cam. Both input/output coolant core hoses were the same diameter 5/9". Walked to Lowe's down the street, bought a $3.75, 5/9" hose adapter and used the clamps from hoses on the core fluid line stems to clamp the input/output fluid hoses together. Problem solved!
Then my rear signal lights/breakights stopped working. Not the bulbs. Not the signal switch by the glovebox inside the dash. Not the fuse. I'd like to thank Corporate America (Lee Iacoca) for Programmed Obsolescence. Translation (We make sure everything breaks at once to force you to buy a new vehicle, so we make money). But, I'll find the bad ground.
