That little exposed wire in between the two half's really bothers me. At least it appears to be covered in some kind of metal or something. Same thing with the lack of temperature control. Can you even turn off the upper plate? How even is the cooling anyway? I don't see much flipping of the cooked items. It would be much more awesome too if the bottom element was a dual element that optionally ran more than 720w so you could crank it up for improved hearing time. Another improvement would be if the surface lifted off from the heating element so you could place it on some wood and serve right from it (and wash it easily). It's also missing some optional groves and a way to slant the surface so u can use it like s George foreman or whatever But heck for 50 bucks it ain't bad. lol
