There are some really amazing places in NJ that have amazing colors in the Fall. The tri-state as a whole have a lot of highways that are full of lots of colors.
Beautiful! I've been in the West my entire life but I never knew colors like this existed out here until I stumbled upon the colors a year ago in southeastern Idaho. I had thought 🍁 maples like this only existed in the Eastern US and Canada.
Utah really is a hidden gem - people don’t talk about it because they don’t want the traffic lol - but truly is one of the most beautiful places I’ve lived
Wow! Even just the drive in the beginning was gorgeous! Even if you didn't finish that hike at the Dutch Hollow Trailhead those are still useful tips. I think they're windsurfing at the reservoir. So many useful tips about car sizes, roads, and when to come. So many beautiful colors. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! I think it actually might be Kite surfing, lol. I know it doesn't seem like there is a difference, but when I googled it, it looked super different. Wind surfing the sail is attached to the board, and kite surfing you are holding onto the kite and you are attached to the board.
It definitely is worth a trip in the fall. There are a bunch of farms in the surrounding areas that do pretty stellar corn mazes too - like CrossE Ranch
It honestly depends, I think as a kid I remember it snowing ONCE on Halloween, but it is more the wind storms that blow the leaves off and cut the colorful season short more than anything. The area near Heber City is usually protected from the wind if all else fails (Heber is 30 min North of Park City)
We love Utah so much!! The scenery there is just out of this world. You're so lucky you live there. Yay for taking your dogs with you!! We're all about that :) Awww, sorry to hear that there was a windstorm that passed through... you just never know! Pine Canyon Drive seemed like a good next option tho! Love those fall colors and the pups seemed to love the adventure too :)
It really is! Saw y'all were in Colorado recently, that looks like it has some amazing fall colors too! Your dog is super duper cute and very well behaved.
Thanks for covering so many hikes. This is a beautiful area, would love to check it out sometime. Looks like you’re getting pretty good flying your drone
Amazing! You will love it! I have another video on things to do in Utah in October as well, Haunted Houses are a HUGE deal here. There is even a whole amusement park dedicated to folklore and fairytales here :)
We JUST went down there this last weekend and I'm working on the video right now, so be sure to subscribe and I will try to push those out a bit sooner for you. Found some great spots, and not so great spots for free primitive camping. Be sure to check the weather in each area before you go. I go on trips to southern Utah every year (Utah Local).
Sorry to have to correct your facts. Little cottonwood canyon is a classic glacier cut canyon not Big Cottonwood canyon which is river cut canyon in the lower canyon and glacier cut in the upper half. Also Mnt Timp. Is the secondary highest in the Wasatch range not in Utah. Their are many higher mountains in Utah, mostly in the Unitas, La Sal, Tuscarora and Deep creek ranges. Otherwise good vid.
Gah! I get those mixed up all the time (#terriblewithnames) -- Well they were both carved out with water for some kind, LOL! Do I at least get points for at least getting that right? LOL! Thanks for saying its a good video!
You might be a little too late for the higher elevation colors. Typically by mid-October most of the colors have disappeared. Storms move through and the leaves fall. You can try Memory Grove Park though, it is a really pretty area right by Salt Lake City, and it might still have some gorgeous colors because it is pretty protected.
Thank you for the video. I am planning to see the fall colors in 2024 and was wondering if you know anything about the gorgeous trail shown in this video Short. "th-cam.com/video/quCw0Df6peY/w-d-xo.html". The description says it's in Spanish Fork Canyon but does not say which trail they are walking on.
After doing a bit more research, my guess is that the video Short shows the Fifth Water Hot Springs trail near Springville, Utah. Definitely will include this in my itinerary.
apologies - my channel filtered this question - it depends on the time of year, but Fifth Water Hot Springs looks just like this, but is VERY popular trail. Another good one is Stewart Falls - it has some really interesting tree shapes along with the fall colors, and sometimes animal sightings as well :)
Did you know Utah was full of so many fall colors? Where is your favorite road-trip for Fall Colors?

Wow, that's so beautiful! Do you have any suggestion on the best spot to take pictures with the beautiful foliage?

@@CultureTrekking That makes more sense.
Splendid colors! So lovely, Dear Jenie, in the mean time, I see two cute pets with you, thanks, 💐
Thank you too!
We're going to be visiting Utah but during the winter. This looks beautiful during the Fall .
It definitely is worth a trip in the fall. There are a bunch of farms in the surrounding areas that do pretty stellar corn mazes too - like CrossE Ranch
@@CultureTrekking Oooo nice!
Utah is at its best during fall
I completely agree, especially September and October - Have you seen my video on things to do in Utah in october?
Ya. It was great.
Heading to Utah this Friday! Thank you for the list.
Have fun! The leaves change here really quickly, but we haven't had any more big wind storms so you should still have some great colors up there.
Great drone shots. I love the Alpine Loop. We are visiting Park City October 2021. Hope it's not too late. When does snow arrive typically?

@@CultureTrekking what is a good hike for a 13 year old first time to Utah? Have you taken the tram to the top of snowbird and hiked up there

:) Your always welcome to come and visit ;) The drone is getting easier for sure, but apparently it overheats easier at high altitude (who knew)
Gorgeous
Me or the leaves 😜
Thank u for the video!! I am from Perú , I was in Utah last winter and I''ll travel there again on October 2020 :)

Wow, the fall colours are amazing! I love a good road trip but we don't really get fall colours in Australia. I'll have to wait for my big US trip!
Definitely include this on your list, I also linked an article in the description box on the best roadtrips for Fall colors in the USA
Do you have southern Utah videos ? We are going to St. George and Zion national park next month. Any suggestions to see follage?

@@CultureTrekking thanks for replying keep up the good work. Raised in Utah, south cottonwood area, moved in 1971 now in Seattle Wa area.
