Yep unfortunately. I’m so sick of getting the same minifigures in every set, especially when the builds are so good.
@@asc3nded397 Yeah. For example for the Firedragon Attack they could have made a Legacy version of the DX Suit and for Season 2 Sets a Legacy version of the Kimono-Suit.
They also could include more Possession-Legacy-Sets and give us the chance to complete the Legacy-Deepstone-Ninja-Suits since we already got Zane.

LEGO don't do very many location sets, but when they do they are always perfect: price wise and design wise. But when it comes to minifigs i feel a lot of them are overused and should definitely be updated over time. Great video man! And Thank you for the shout out once again!
The whole situation is a bit odd - Lego aknowledges old fans with their legacy sets, yet they don't go all the way and release Borg, Morro, Dr. Julien and so on. Yet at the same time they have released battle packs giving us Shade and Ash, as well as the old Toys'rus minifigure packs with future Jay and Kabuki Nya. They even release more UCS sets now.
A lot of fans would be happy if we just got 1-2 CMF series - just throw all the unreleased figures into them (accurate to the show) as well as some updates for old ones and we'd be happy. If not a CMF then put them in the legacy sets like you suggested instead of more Kai figures lol.
They also could’ve been more creative with the season 1 suits. For pilot sets keep them the way they were and change the bandana and armor colors to match the zx suits. Have the legacy 2 suits come with sleeves for rebooted and keep ‘em sleeveless for ToE. Too bad it’s all gone now.

I remember when before the earth driller and all the other legacy sets were released many people were thinking Dr Julien would be in the driller and then I also remember all the disappointment when he wasn't. It was such a great opportunity to give us him in minifigure form and they didn't.

I feel like a lot of people would want a city of stix set with morro for the next legacy wave
I mean we have gotten new Legacy Sets since this such as an actually good Destiny's Bounty which is amazing, but my idea is simply to go back and just rerelease the figures from the time, possibly do new prints on certain parts so they are slightly updated but I would love a new ZX with the classic designs over the Legacy suits that just continually hash out the movie designs. I mean my only gripe with the new Destiny's bounty is the minifigures, there is a good young Lloyd and Wu is fine but atleast rerelease a ZX or Kimono Ninja suits for it to go with it and also a classic Nya from before she became the water ninja that isn't just Samurai X. And what I want more than Vehicles are buildings like I want a full on set based around the old Monestary which could double as the Burned down Monestrary with the building itself being detachable, the set would include the original suits of the four, Wu, Garmadon, and an Acronix. Krux meanwhile could get a 4+ set of the Mueseum Painting, him, Kai, and one of the Crimson warriors, possibly a gimmick sidebuild for it too possibly one of those statues we seen a few times since like Season 3, possibly it being Samukai, or like that beast thing from the ageing episode in Season 2. Still I bring up the Monestary even though we already got it because I personally would want a Deathstar level version of it tbh, having it have an underground area where a bunch of references could be had and the above ground part being the training ground, the entrance, and the main building itself
I have the same frustration except with Jay (he literally shows up in every single set for like no reason even if it's not legacy)
I collect the Legacy magazines, which was fun at first, but it turned painful pretty quickly.
They just keep using the same characters in different combinations!!!

Honestly, LEGO should stop remaking sets and just put the old ones back into production
True. The old ones were so cool. I wish I had known Ninjago in 2011, then I would have bought all Original Dragons and could be happy. This builds of dragons are so good. The newer ones aren't even half as good as the old ones, which could shoot balls on their enemies and had (most times) fully moveable brickbuild wings.

Majority of the sets are an improvement on their predecessor in builds, but yes the minifigure selection is poor

Some of the old molds don't exist anymore which might be the reason why Ninjago legacy Minifigures are like that.

They use Kai not as a main character as he should be, but instead Kai is just a marketing point for lego to gain money and not give the character development. It's a character lego, not any kind of candy that everyone will buy

Quick answer why villians like chen, possesed lloyd or samukai will never return: their exclusive piecies have retired and for lego is not profitable to bring back them for one set.
i would like it if they just... rereleased old sets with no changes. since i missed a lot of old ninjago sets i really want and it could open a path to rereleasing some great old franchises for less cost of production (like lego Αlpha team)

Honestly nelson should join the ninja team as the purple ninja, and he can have shapeshift and skylor should be there too and so should dareth, his power could be when he’s fighting someone he could hypnotise someone.
My headcanon is that Dareth is the first Stone elemental, which is an element not even the First Spinjitzu Master knew about, which then makes him very overpowered
You should make custom figures for the elemental masters that have not been made
