How to FIX the LEGO Ninjago Golden Ninja Minifigures!

Throughout the year of 2021, LEGO Ninjago has released 7 different Golden Ninja minifigures to celebrate the theme's 10th Anniversary. However, they're not all perfect - and there's potential modifications you can make to some of them. In this video, I go over every way I can think of to fix, modify, or change these minifigures, and provide you with different options for display!

I absolutely love the Classic variation, with the faces, hoods, and armor. Feels like a true love letter to the start of Ninjago

Lloyd pacifically is just a recolor of the Kemno suit which is why I don’t like it

I think Zane would look great being displayed with his Technoblade. I know legacy zane is supposed to homage season 11 but rebooted was very important for Zane, not to mention it matches if you choose to have him with the gold rebooted hood.

7:22 these are the best ones, the good old days of ninjago, since it's the 10 anniversary, it makes sense to use this classic version of the ninja

I like the classic designs of Lloyd Garmadon, Zane Julian, Kai Smith, Nya Smith, Cole Brookstone but with Jay I like his new design with the freckles and the curles
One more combination you could’ve done when displaying them with their classic designs is to use Hutchins’ golden helmet and 2017 Samurai X’s gold faceguard to make a golden Samurai X helmet for Nya, it may not be as uniform with the others but I find it’s more respective to her legacy.
That’s right!!! Then that’ll be a real Legacy cause she did that in the past and showing it for the Tenth Anniversary would be amazing 😄

Kai- Pilot mask
Jay- Zx
Zane- Half Mask
Cole-Multicolor hoods (possession specifically)
Lloyd- Movie Masks
Nya- current masks
This is a great way to pay tribute to every ninja mask iteration
I kinda wish the ninja had been made themed to certain seasons.
Nya stays seabound. Kai? Tournament. Ice still works for Zane, but his emperor armour would’ve been a nice touch. Lloyd could’ve been his ZX self from season 2, Cole stays Master Of The Mountain.. I could’ve worked harder on this comment.
If you just wanted to match Kai and Zane, you could use their original coloured ZX armour as they both use gold head crests

remember the possession/skybound/DOTD hoods? wouldn't they look so awesome if the black was instead gold? those hoods were amazing and they would look really great with gold as the secondary color

I personally am only modifying one thing:
I am just giving Lloyd his Tournament of Elements half mask. I have a spare.
If I had to do one modification I would do that too
I’m getting the Golden Jay one soon and I’ll be getting 2 Swords of Fire, cut off the blade, and put some blue thread or yarn in there to make the Lightning because I love the original Nunchucks of Lightning.
For the classic one I would give them all there originally face like you did but give Zane his titanium ninja face and wu yellow hands
I would give Nya either the regular 'human' head with a spear, or the NRG ones with some of those amazing power burst effect parts in her hands to make the trans-blue more cohesive on the whole figure.
U can give Nya some blue power blasts,that way u make her look kinda like her Nrg figure
i think you should make nya's custom weapon as a golden spear. i think it fits her well
I wish that the minifigs were from the first 6 seasons, the minifig from that season being the one that was most focused on (1 for kai, 2 for lloyd, 3 for zane, 4 for cole, 5 for nya, and 6 for jay).

10:44 looks so epic and I think its my favorite way of fixing the 10 Years Anniversary Ninja
Cole actually does have a gold hood with black headband, it’s in the Crystalized sets, they have printing but you can just use an eraser to remove it
I feel like you could give each ninja there elemental weapon,
Kai - sword of fire
Jay - legacy knunchucks of lightning
Zane - possesion shurkens of ice
Cole - 2022 (crystalized) sycthe of quakes
Lloyd - sword of elements
Nya - spear of water

If I’m gonna be honest I think for the 10th anniversary of Ninjago, instead of making gold versions of newer ninja suits, using the original suits from 2011 with a Nya and Lloyd version would’ve been cool
Honestly, with Golden ZX Zane, you should have gave him his titanium ninja head from seasons 4-7. It would look a lot better with the torso, and not feel so out of place
Personally I think Gold should never be a primary color.
It looks absolutely amazing when used as an accent, and pairs best with white, making it the main color just feels like an orange/yellow suit, not gold.
These make them look even better!! I really love that!! 😃 wish I could buy these 😅
I think I'll stick with the simple fix. So Lloyd has something covering his face, and Zane can have a more accurate hood to what we see in the Reimagined Shorts.
Youre probably the only creator who takes ninjago seriously this makes the vids super fun
Imo Zane's Forbidden Spinjitzu helmet would look better on Lloyd :)

the classic version really brings out the nostalgia when ninja go became popular.
As soon as I got the Lloyd I added the mask and I displayed it like that and will forever keep it like that...

Yeah I definitely think that’s the way to go for her - didn’t think it was worth including every single different weapon possibility since they’ve all had a lot, so I only used season-specific weapons that match their suits in this video
Bricks By Mind but nya did use the trident when escaping the palace that kalmaar lived in. Like the lightning trident she did use it once in seaboind
I personally wish they released the wayyyyyy old first ninja versions that they sold with the spinners, it would bring so much nostalgia
I wish the FS hood was either gold or solid light blue

Replacing the face of Golden Jay with Digi Jay face makes it look 10x better
Excellent choices. I think giving Kai the FS hood and Zane the golden one he got from the Golden Zane pack, works better.
I tried my gold Kai with FS Kai mask and it actually fits better

As someone planning to possibly get Legacy Golden Kai, I’m considering giving him a hairpiece and half mask like I did Lloyd like you did… but I do lack the hairbanded hairpiece.
I don’t like how the suits are all from the wild brain seasons because I feel that it would have been more celebratory if we had gold versions of suits from older season like Toe or possession

Golden Nya is based off of Nrg S15 Nya
Man, you make me wish they would release Gold versions of the "Legacy" hood for Cole, Jay, and Nya. Also, I would totally have been down for a gold Scuba hood piece; I thought it was weird that Nya just got a new hairpiece. I mean, Kai and Zane's hoods reflect the Fire and Ice Chapters, Jay and Cole's reflect Prime Empire and Master of the Mountain, and Lloyd's reflects The Island. But Nya's just feels random; it feels like it should have come with her The Island variant, and it doesn't match up to Seabound because it's a non-"NRG" version of her "NRG" headpiece.
Of course, I also find it a bit strange that a set of figures meant to celebrate all ten years of Ninjago only comes with hood/hair pieces from the last three. I mean, what about the DX, ZX, Possession, and Movie style hoods?
But almost all of the ninja doesn't have the golden movie mask but hey put a golden half mask (i meant bottom young Wu's golden half mask) and half mask (top season 8 to 9) or put zane a golden mask (Wu mask from season 9) zane will be perfect and put young Wu head and armor from season 9 it will be better
i like how they used hoods from previous seasons like jay is the main character in prime empire because he is the one that saves ninjago from unagami same for cole and kai also zane too

i gave them golden weapons from season 1-2 and 10
I would definitely go for the classic design, and give the OG four their original Golden Weapons.
These are some awesome ideas and i can see or rather hear that someone's a fan of Pokémon Sun's and Pokémon Moon's OST and as someone who has had and played Pokémon Sun since the 24th of December 2016 i can say that i completely understand why and not only that, one of my favorite Pokémon memes came from those games, that meme being the "Press A to pound" meme.
One thing I did was have the weapons and cole also has a golden shield from MOTM and with Nya I gave her Kalmaar's trident and I feel it fits well
Frankly I’d like to see you do stands for 2017 Golden Kai, Legacy Golden Lloyd, 2013 Golden Lloyd and Rebooted Golden Zane… maybe bring in the custom golden half masks for Zane and Kai?
I actually have the core 4 golden ninja displayed with their Golden weapons and it looks epic

Since I got extras with the temple of celebrations, I'll be using the Jay, Cole (with Jay using the nunchucks of lightning and Cole using the scythe of quakes) and Nya at 0:01, the Zane and Lloyd at 1:31 (with zane using the shurikens of ice and Lloyd using the Mega weapon) the Wu at 6:40 and the Kai at 9:10 (using the sword of fire. The kai at 10:37 in a separate display with the Dragon Blade, and if I can make it work, a master of the mountain shield)
For some of the ninja you could use the swoop pieces from the ultimate battle sets
I made a fully chrome gold ninja, same as the season 2 gold ninja but no printing just fully chrome gold
I did the exact same with gold spray paint
You could have also used the Golden Dragon Master mask for Zane to represent season 8 or 9. You can also use the legacy golden ninja face for lloyd to match with wu, and maybe use echo zane or titanium zane from season 4 for zane

I have a idea, for lloyd, you can use his golden legacy head, it fits very well, combine it with the golden forbidden spinjitzu mask of Lloyd. I sadly dont have the season 11 golden armour, but i know i will look even better with that.
I would love to see versions of these golden suits in their regular colours
With gold cole i swapped the hammer with the old Chima battle axe with a dragon handle, i wanted to reference how after Zane died he became a lumberjack for a short period of time. i never really liked the hammer

Another thing you could do with the classic design is you could give them their original golden weapons

For Nya's weapon u could use her spear from sons of garmadon .
I feel like the ninja would look amazing with half masks and their normal hair
For me personally, I would display them with their original ZX hoods, ZX Armor, maybe the original faces, and then for Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane, give them the golden weapons, and give Lloyd his sword from season 11 and give nya her spear from season 11
Fun Fact: The blade on Nyas taser gun is called a Sai. Its pronounced sigh and is used for stabbing and striking.

You can actually display all Ninja with Forbidden Spinjitzu hoods actually, as both Nya and Cole reuse colors of Zane and Kai respectively, and Jay, well, he used slightly diffrent green than Lloyd did, so you could perhaps also display him with blue hood
I like the suits they used for Masters of the Mountain.
For the unique weapons you could have given nia the blue energy pieces from nrg nia
I gave them different weapons because I'm bored of the swords, and if you have broken weird pieces you can try and find pieces there
4:04 you should make a golden fork (javelin)
I prefer the zx armor with island hair but it's still very cool. Also, Nya could get a trydant which I believe she should have used in seabound.
I prefer to display mine with S11 weapons, Lloyd with half mask and Wu with yellow head, beard and hands, so he looks like he's wearing a suit like the rest instead of a golden statue (also golden beard wasn't on Bricks and pieces...)
I may also replace Lloyd's shoulder pad with S11 and remove Nya's with the mask completely
I’m also replacing their weapons with the season 11 weapons but I want to keep their katanas on their backs the one problem I’ve had is Cole’s season 11 weapon is actually different to the one he comes with in the legacy set and his back looks empty without a weapon do I have Cole with 2 hammers his one from the legacy set on his back and his season 11 one in his hands
@@skitz1016 imo you should use the s11 hammer but if you have an extra dragon head hilt in either black or gold, cut off part of the top (the part that you can attach a stud to) and put it in the hammer's head and then use a rod and a stud with a hole in it on the bottom.
I wish it had one big stand that you could attach them all on like Harry Potter had.
Personally the only changes I would make is give Lloyd a half mask and Zane his normal hood and Kai his holden katana, Zane golden shurikens, jay his golden kusarigama, Lloyd his golden sword, nya her golden spear and cole his golden hammer.
Classic designs look the best
This helps me a lot because I just couldn't figure out what my Lloyd was missing
I have the golden Lloyd figure and in its base is probably one of my favorite minifigures
10 years of Ninjago stops at the Master of the Mountain. And begins at the pilot seasons. So, anything that's after Master of the Mountain is not 10 years of Ninjago. I hope this was helpful.
Personally if I had to decide the seasons that each were based on I’d change it a fair bit
Kai: tournament of elements (fire chapter is fine tho)
Zane: definitely rebooted, while Zane is the villian of the ice chapter he’s not the focus ninja at all
Jay: it’s fine as it is since prime empire is a Jay season but skybound would’ve been better
Cole: fine as it is
Lloyd: maybe like a zX style or sons of garmadon style robe? Definitely not the island.
Nya: season 5 or 7 style robe. Preferably 5 since we only got one legacy possesion ninja

In my opinion, they should've remade old gi like zx, komodo, or trainee, But gold is pretty cool ngl, especially since some of these suits reference old seasons
I gave nya her spear, and changed her hood and shoulder plates to the 2022 sumarai x helmet and shoulder plates
Use a golden dragon hilt and that golden blade on the taser gun from sea bound.
I put them in their season 1 gold helmets and faces as well as giving them their respected season 1 golden weapons
