My Sister bought turkey jerky a few years back and was about halfway through the package when my Niece looked closely at the bag. It was dog treats. I never laughed so hard in my life.
The really good quality dog jerkys actually aren't too bad🤣 bland but definitely edible

Beef Jerky is expensive enough as it is. Do we really need expensive beef jerky?
It’s a gimmick. The whole point of good, true wagyu (not the crossbred stuff) is the marbling and I have no idea how you can enjoy that in jerky form.
They’re probably not even using true wagyu

Most of the expensive stuff doesn't actually taste good. I had salami made with truffle oil and it wasn't better than regular salami. It is a status thing. It is not because it actually tastes good.

Its not Waygu but my favorite beef jerky is a brand called Hardtimes. It’s really peppery and savory. I’m not a fan of sugary jerky. Also it comes with a toothpick so that comes in handy.
