Even using the term CIS is like them declaring victory in a debate where they've provided zero facts or evidence. Just using the term indicates that there's a need for the term, which indicates that they won the debate without even contributing to an actual debate at any point. Also, as soon as someone uses the term CIS, you already know everything else they believe and they're going to say... it's like when a Jehovah's Witness, Mormon or Scientologist tries to convert you. Which issue exactly? The _definition_ of a words deconstructed into meaninglessness, or the underlying truth of the concept the word was meant to represent?
Sure, the Derrida-sycophants have made the _definition_ of the word a debate, because... well, that's what they do. They think it's clever to obfuscate under the pretense of seeking truth. But the underlying concept, is simple not up for dispute, and that is the common usage no matter how much other claim otherwise, you know, by saying "the issue is disputed."
Because the concept is not. _At all._
In our dimophic species: adult human _female_ equals woman. Just as two plus two equals four. You can call it five, ten, and orange, a tree or an elephant. The _concept_ remains the same; the _value_ is unchanged.

One can encourage compassion, sympathy and flexibility of belief, but one can't legalize that process, certainly not overnight. Purposely misgendering someone in the workplace may constitute discrimination, but in terms of the public sphere these sort of laws are not going to result in further acceptance of the trans community. The backlash is becoming evident in the loss of support for the LGBT community in general.

Who cares how few crimes they commit? The number of rapes by trans women in female prisons should be ZERO. Anything more than that produces at least one 100% preventable victim, and can be directly blamed on the law that allows trans women to be classified as women for prison placement. Similarly, the number of awards for trans women in women's sports should be ZERO. Anything more than that produces at least one 100% preventable victim (who lost the award that should have been rightfully hers by the true definition of woman - which is why the Left refuses to define it)

This exchanged was one of your worst. Briahna didn't get the current memo. Robby seems to know even less. Briahna is speaking from 2015. "Trans rights are human rights" has been fading as the mantra for the last five-10 years. If otherwise, Briahna might be right to say the identification itself - 'trans woman' or 'trans man' - may be enough. Now some advocates that women can have prostates. Men can have babies. Briahna asks "in what context?" In every context, it seems obvious. Rowling just picked one sector. The current call that "transwomen are women" indicates that we are supposed to acknowledge them as women, include them in women's spaces because they "are" women.

The word "woman" means an adult female human and the word "man" means an adult male human. That is what these words have always meant. Why should they be redefined? I would be open to a good explanation of why, but it seems like this redefinition has simply been announced by cultural elites and is being imposed by force. It's quintessential newspeak.

And I have seen ones with the forged female ID; it is not a rarity. Were it up to many, they'd be able to swap genders on the ID as easily as they swap pronouns.

Bri, People are, IN FACT, walking around insisting that they were born the Gender that they identify as.
IN FACT…. Bri, Trans Men and Trans Women can OFFICIALLY have their GENDER changed ON THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATES!
I know this because I’ve seen it!
IN FACT, One of the problems faced by Women who change their “Born Gender” on their Birth Certificate’s, from Female to Male, here in America, will get a letter from the US Government saying they are required to sign up for Selective Service in our Military. I know this because, again, I’ve seen it!
But they can, IN FACT, get out of Selective Service when they submit documents to the Military that Proves they were actually, and IN FACT, born Female!
Knowing this I’m guessing that a Male who changes their Gender to Female BEFORE turning 18 years old can/could, IN FACT, get bypassed for Selective Service because their Altered Birth Certificate says they were Born female.
