it's been 11 years and yet this is still the most beautiful thing I've heard in my life
the chemistry and collective talent of these two is so palpable. The music feels so natural and non-improvised, it weighs so heavily on the soul. I hope I have the privilege of someday seeing one of these two perform or improvise live.
As a musician and a composer, I can only say that this is the strongest music I have ever heard in my entire life. Every note has a meaning. Phrasings are gone. It's all up to every individual note to transmit the passion of the composer. Olafur, you are a huge inspiration with my composition and only wish to truly understand one day the simplicity that makes your composition so transcending and powerful. Thanks for your genius work.

So great to see their vulnerability in this! Man, each of them usually play in front of larger crowds & they know how to play stuff. But at the beginning you can see their insecurity in their faces & hands: "Ok, how could we make this..." A great testimony for courage which is needed so urgently in those kinda moments.

I never get tired of these two together. This performance is a great example of how they just get in synch with each other and improvise amazing composition's and work's of art. I've seen them both live but not together. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity some day.
I also this project that they improvised over a few hours and it was all filmed. I'm assuming most of you will already know about it but this is for those that don't.

I think this is quite possibly the best thing I've ever seen. Partly, because they're both adorable as heck. But also because I cannot believe it's an IMPROVISATION (granted, they got a little lost in there) but I think it really came into its own around the middle to end. Very awesome.

I have watched a lot of improvisations and this is by far, to this day, still one of my favs. Individually, both Olafur and Nils are amazing performers, but together, they complement one another in a way that is beyond eloquence. I've lost count how many times I've watched this video, and each time I find it just as tantalizing as the first.
