some random advice if you decide to pick this up again (which I hope you do!) 1. you actually didn't sleep in the bed you paid for lol, it's a Japanese style capsule hotel thingy. The beds are to the left of the desk, back of the room. 2.the only worth while crops i've found are wheat and barley. you can get seeds from the produce stall opposite the o-mart 3. in the same building as the hotel/hostel, towards the top is a money changer. OC is worth far less than RM, so you can actually get all the OC you need for the walls upgrade by exchanging RM 4.The best way to earn money is by exploring. most of the big buildings have an area blocked off by bricks or wood planks. they have either valuables you can sell to mr bag or rare/more expensive materials needed for building upgrades. 5.Unless i've missed someone, all potential residents need at least level 1 walls, bathroom, and heating. you get paid daily and the game really does open up once you get the first tennant
Infra is such a beautiful game but at the same time has a terrifying story and moments. I had always wanted to see you play it so I'm really excited for this!
At first, there were elements of Beholder and We Happy Few I immediately latched onto (running a tenament, glowing mushrooms that cause disease, scavenging the trash, etc.), but this really is fathoms deeper than most games. The build mechanics really scratch that Fallout 4 itch, and I can also see elements of some other underrated survival games such as The Infected. The problem with any good survival/simulation game is you have to choose between realism, resource management, and accessibility. A realistic game will have high levels of resource management and will be less accessible to casual gamers, while a more accessible game will sacrifice much of its resource management and realism. Obenseuer seems perfect for those of us that crave realism, crafting, and resource management, but that also means it will end up somewhat niche. Thankfully, the niche it's carving itself into is one rarely travelled, making it a title that's sure to become a cult classic in time. Even though it's more of a grind, I'd love to see more gameplay in future. There's not much more slogging than in a game such as Project: Zomboid or even Dredge. More importantly, I feel the slog actually benefits this game because it forces you to think outside of a simple management sim by making you explore, talk to the characters, and fight for that first tenant. The result is an initial slow burn that you can truly appreciate later when money is no longer the issue and you've become a bit of a real estate baron.
I really hope you play INFRA in the future. I started playing it because you talked about the game in some older videos and it's one of my favourite games ever. I'm planning on doing a 100% in the future because I want to see every single thing this game has. I think INFRA would fit perfectly into your channel since it is creepy and sometimes comfy and of course, it has a urbex vibe to it.
Let's go! I know he's already played it but I doubt that would ruin the experience, INFRA is such a cathatic game in the way that it's played, it's a walking simulator at it's base but at the same time it feels a lot more special than that, and it has that source feel to it which is always good. It's definitely a high contender when it comes to creepy and comfy I think.
I recommend waiting until bazzar gets added to the game. Because even if you follow the main questline, you'll eventually hit a wall, Also there's a roadmap in place for the future of the game. But if you want to continue, interact with people and scrounge for parts and resources to sell to merchants. Also buy wheat and rye seeds, for some reason they net a load of cash when grown. As you said, the first upgrade is a slog to get through, but once you have the first tenant, you'll have cash rolling in, so you can take it easier.
@@iiredgm No, where you need to go for quest to get it, it isn't finished, thus it doesn't let you proceed. But acording to the roadmap, the next big update will bring bazzar and Deekula A to the game.
- I do not know if they existed when this comment was first posted 4 months ago, however currently in my own playthrough the one single crop that seems way above in profit margin, is the Hops plant, with everything else you get a few hundred coins, but with a full bumper crop of hops I'm netting 2000 coin every harvest, and its a multiple harvest plant like the tomatoes, but so much more money. Also you get a really good seed return on them so you honestly only ever need to buy just the first seeds, then it rapidly grows until you have high excess of extra seeds, which I suppose can also be sold. My biggest issues in the game are a few certain rare upgrade materials hard to find, and making sure I always have enough RM (real Money) as OC (Open Sewer Coins) are pretty easy to get now.
True to lore, this game just throws you right into the middle of it. Pack you up with some crippling addictions, some supplies, and you're on your own. I'm excited to see how you would turn around the place and make it the nicest smelling place in all of Open Sewer! 30:07 lmao Mark's tagline!
I loved INFRA. Hands down favorite game I’ve played. My current occupation actually was partly inspired from INFRA. Love this developer and I think this game has a good thing going for it. The uniqueness and the grind this game puts off with that INFRA atmosphere makes it something I can really get into.
Great video as always :]!! Also, tought you should know this! DrMorro, the creator behind Organism, actually made another two vrchat maps! Epilogue chapter 1 and 2! From what the trailers have shown they're have the same dream-like vibe as Organism :0!
INFRA practically saved my life in early 2020 when I was stuck in my house for weeks on end. The immersion and realism tricked my brain into believing I was actually out and about in the real world for a bit. I was very sad when I finally completed it! I've known about Obenseuer for a while now, but simulation games like this always seem too overwhelming. I'm glad you've started to play it because I love your appreciation for atmosphere and poetic entropy. Anyways, this is all to say that I hope you keep playing this one and I can't wait to re-experience INFRA when you upload it here!

coming back to this video after hyperfixing on the current playtest for the past few days, some hints for gameplay elements would absolutely be wonderful, like more detail on what meds that restore your physical condition can do, or being able to track all of your stats all the time. i’m sure that probably more coincides with the difficulty stuff loiste may add, but at the same time, being able to figure things out by yourself by sheer logic is also incredibly fun!! i can’t wait to see where this game goes

While not horror. Well horror in its own section. I do enjoy the exploration of these worlds. The tycoon part is all the satisfying cherry ontop. A good aesthetic its built dystopia.
C: its kinda sweet that they have a religious pea soup shelter thingy. my only concern is that with the way russians usually view religion they may just make it an evil place or a neglagent one. It should be noted that this game has only a sliver of what the devs plan for it. This is literally just one of... I think 5 or 6 major locations that will be in the 1.0 of the game :D
