I believe Mike was talking about “waiting for the end” but I’m sure that applies during this song as well. She can clearly get the job done, obviously has the voice for it. She’s great
As someone who sings (on nowhere near a comapаrble level to her or any of these other pros), I can see how technical and precise she is with her singing and how ridiculously technical she is. The mistakes she made aren't the kind of mistakes a singer makes from lack of technique or skill. They're the type of mistakes you make when you either have a cold, aren't in good physical shape or.... you're nervous! And I can only imagine how she must've felt on that stage. Whether she's nervous or just overly emotional and jittery, it was definitely affecting her. My favorite song she sang was "Waiting for the End", but it was also the one where I could hear her voice shake the most, the same way mine shakes when I have stage fright. People really need to shut up and give her a chance. As soon as she loosens up she's gonna show even better performances than that (which was already stellar in my opinion).

Also not sure if you’re aware but Soundgarden was in the process of recording an album before Chris Cornell died. They have at least 7 fully finished songs that will release eventually, so keep an eye out on that too.
