Kristian, thank you for today’s episode. I’ve hit a rough patch and This show really made me laugh. Also, can you, Kate, and one of the Marks (Ellis or Yodi )do a review of the 1986 Transformers The Movie?
SW Visions, next day Doom Patrol, next day Foundation, couple weeks later Dune, then Star Trek Discovery in Nov into Book of Boba in December. Best 3 months in Sci-Fi EVER!!!. If they announce a new Stargate during that time I'll have a heart attack.
Just watched The Duel, from Star Wars Visions. Loved the style and look, wish it was longer but I do hope they show more of this guy in a Season 2, maybe expanding on the shorts that people really enjoyed, the most popular of them. For people that don't watch Anime, there is lots of good stuff that you wouldn't expect. But there is so much that it can be hard to figure out and some Anime is super long. For any new person I always recommend Cowboy Bebop, has a really great and complete story that spans 26 episodes. .
@@TheKristianHarloff Kristian, you really should watch Cowboy Bebop. I'm sure Goddard has watched it so you two having a discussion about it would be fun.
Watched all episodes from Star Wars Visions. I liked them all, but my favourites were The Elder, Akakiri and The Ninth Jedi, in this order. Hope there will be a second season. Loved the today show, btw.
As an anime fan, I loved it. As a Star Wars fan, I loved it. The Duel, The Twins, Village Bride, Ninth Jedi, The Elder, and Akakiri are absolutely fantastic. Hard to pick a fave.
Hi Kristian! I feel exactly like Steph...Anime and Star Wars! What a dream come true..loved the series! I really hope they continue to give opportunities to other story tellers like this..the creativity was fantastic! Big up!
9:52 How did you get Beaver Nuggets? That's a Texas thing. They can be found at Buc-ee's; they are VERY large coviences stores in Texas. There are some in other southern states too. But they started here.
I'm glad to see Steph back on the show! This has to be one of my favorite episodes yet. The whole thing was hysterical lol, from Steph's review of Dear Evan Hansen (which I have to admit makes me want to see it just to see how bad it must be) to your Manscaped add to Steph's story about Phil and Colin. I can't remember if it was SEN or Whirl Girls, but she actually did talk about it before, but she went into more detail here. I don't know how she and Roxy always seem to attract weirdos, but it provides us with some entertaining stories lol.
Great show, very funny. Waiting to watch Visions when my daughter and I have time. I love Star Wars and she loves anime. So it should be a good combination.
I will give it a try even though I am not into anime. That is one of the reasons I like this show, you get exposed to stuff that is outside your regular wheelhouse. Also watched The Bad Batch because of the reviews here.
@Harloff, just hit me how the title of ep9, didnt have any relation to the plot. Who rose? Nobody. Luke didn't come back, Ben didn't live, no new secret Skywalker came out of the shadows. I hope they pay attention to this in any streamed show or movie.
Since kristian liked the anime version of Star Wars he should do a series of reviews about trying to watch anime! He loves great story telling and anime is known for that
I love The Big Thing but I also miss The Goofball Show. I do love movie and TV talk but every so often I would love a nonsense episode. Also The Goofball Show’s intro is great!
I get the age thing is weird for playing a high school student but the actress that plays his love interest is 24 in real life. She was also playing a 16 year old. Rachel McAdams was 26 years old when she played a high school student in Mean Girls. It happens all the time where they cast adults to play teens in movies
Why would you draw the line at the rabbit? Chewie is basically big foot and the best side kick ever, Jabba the Hut is a mafia boss whose an over grown slug and Yoda is a green gremlin who practices Zen, but Jedi Rabbit doesn't do it for you, why does your imagination stops at her and not all the other fantastical characters in Star Wars.
@@TheKristianHarloff and if Chewie did speak English that would be your deal breaker? The original stars wars mostly had white people but that doesn't stop the rest of us who aren't white from enjoying it, it's space fantasy why couldn't anthropomorphized characters exist that speak English or Japanese or Hindi? The name Stars Wars can be as infinite as the title suggests it shouldn't be tethered to just what we've already experienced in the past.
I can't believe I got excited to hear Ed the Sausage Guy come back. The nonsense is the one thing that's fallen by the wayside lately. Would definitely appreciate more nonsense. #savethesausage
Sometimes I feel bad for hot girls. I'm not hot but when I was younger, I still met my share of creeps. Oh and I enjoyed Visions but episode 2 was not for me, it wasn't bad but it felt inconsequential.
I’m gonna be honest this is probably the only good one maybe the 5th Episode but definitely this one the other seemed forced or the stories didn’t make sense the animation for all of them were amazing but if the core story isn’t good it doesn’t matter shit was not good man The first one was really amazing I honestly thought they should’ve focused more on the first one made more episodes with the first one it was so cool seeing samurai sith
Shoplifting there b a Season 2 Hell fucking yea! It’s not like Star Wars got anything going on in animation except lol bad batch that’s about it! I mean if a person is a Hardcore Otaku like me Imagine a Ufotable Star Wars anime that’s 22 minutes Nawl scratch that! Imagine a Sunrise Star Wars anime the people who do Gundam! Boy oh boy ! Get the Jojo bizarre adventure Animation studio to animate it! The list goes on and on and on! Plus personally outside of a anthology I actually want a Anime series of Star Wars! Of course I see Homages/Parodies in Gintama or Mobile suit Gundam or legend of galactic heroes or etc! But man oh man imagine that! They can literally make a Anime series off of the 9th Jedi or something! Anything’s possible! I kinda wish Marvel would do the same again but I digress
The guy who lies about being friends with the kid who committed suicide is also like trying to get with that guys sister while hes lying and all that stuff. Which is probably the main reason why evan Hansen is controversial. He lied about something that is just something you dont lie about especially after that person is dead and you wrote on their cast but not cuz you were friends but because you were being an asshole. So he just faces 0 consequences at all for lying the whole time actually he basically gets rewarded cuz even the guy who died sister still goes on a date with him after she finds out about him lying. It's just tone deaf really.
@@TheKristianHarloff yea the movie is acting like it's trying to teach a morale lesson but its absent of a real morale lesson. If it was trying to say that theres crappy people in the world then that's one thing. It just sends the wrong message that you can lie and be a bad person and eventually everything will be ok and people will not be mad at you.
