Fun fact: Unity is the last game with Jade Raymond involved, one of the original visionaries of the series. That's probably why Unity has a lot of good things in it despite its poor launch and glitchiness.
Also explains why the series went steadily downhill after Unity

story wise unity is better. unless you want that more have comedy than syndicate is good for you. jacob and evie motivation is lacking compare to arno.
origin is good in terms of story exploring the origins of assassins creed but the gameplay nowhere good as unity expecially in stealth part and there is the parkour not good as unity. if they just can combine the combat in recent game and unity they can make perfect assassin's creed game.
and with all of this feature, unity still remains number 1 in my heart just because it has the most smooth hidden blade animation. he did it in a way like tapping enemies back that npc won't notice unless the victim already fell to the ground. Arno really is the stealthiest assassin to this day

He's not really the stealthiest, because unless you're blending, you'll be instantly detected after a low profile assassination in Unity, so it looking stealthy doesn't really matter.
Of all my years as an AC fan and I never knew about Spring Boarding in ACII
I played the first game as a 12year old kid. I still remember it as being the only video game to have played at that time. The mission of hunting tamir while i was so darn sick and all i could do was play 15 to 40 minutes per day..the rainy season of world cup 2014 man i miss ot all so much. 4:12 Collapsing scaffoldings was seen in the E3 demo of Assassin’s Creed 1 by using the sword after killing William de Montferrat to stop pursuing guards. I don’t know why Ubisoft had to cut that feature from the game as Altair was capable of knocking down scaffolding with a sword during a chase in the demo but not in the final build.
Probably the feature glitched the game or did something that affected gameplay. Sometimes that happens so they dont bother and deleted it.
Beating Duccio is also another great nostalgic moment for me, both in AC2 and Revelation
Fun fact (and I only discovered this recently in a TH-cam video). So, some of you might know that there is a special Assassination Bayek does when an enemy is behind a reed wall. He'll stick his hand through it, and stab whoever is behind it. But did you know two running Assassinations from AC Unity are actually in the game? They involve those thin reed walls you can break through. Basically, and enemy has to be behind one of them, and you simply have to run full speed at the reed wall (and the enemy behind it), and tap the assassination button at the right time. You could also start spamming the button once you get close enough to the wall.
Another funny thing about assassin's creed 2 is that when ezio fights the axe guards is when he makes fun of them and ezio calls them fat😅😅😅

Every other game was cool till Origins. I didn't like the leveling system. Didn't finish the story at all.
Lost hope in the series because of odyssey and Valhalla
But now since Mirage dropped I felt back home 🤩 I love baghdad and its atmosphere and the games story and mechanics 😉

Rogue: has most lift design, unique stalker takedown (example: stalker's air assassinate attack parried using pistol), unique air rifle counter, hunting civilian without desync
Syndicate: kidnap, instant assassinate and pick up, playing as 2 assassins, up to 4 enemies finisher

To me, it was exploring the Frontier, there were a place where a dear would stay alone above a lake admist a thick fog and just sing the song of his kin. That was super beautiful and very moving.
There was a night were I would find my way to a firecamp with two NPC, I decided to sit with them next to the fire and just... Chill. That was so great. I almost felt part of it.
The details of NPCs comments on Altair hanging from the ledge and them throwing rocks at him are literally better than the whole RPG crap series

I recently played the originals again from the ezio collection, ac 1 , and unity and syndicate. Honestly I prefer how engaged the controls for parkour and the combat were. The same engagement of fighting and being able to control how and where you parkour lacks a bit in the newer games.
At the end he should have said, "They just never get my noise right."
He does say "Bad likeness" or "The things that pass for art these days" sometimes. I do agree that I wish he said "The never get my nose right". That would have been funny, hehe.

Ac 1 parkour at shop stalls and wrecked it got me😂
Hunting in ac3, ac4, origins, odyssey and valhalla, each game had a different approach but i really enjoyed ac3 more in this regard, also gathering assassins in ac3 was awesome, improving the villa or your house in ac4 was cool, unity had the cafe missions, also the interior stealth in unity and syndicate as well as the black box missions. I guess its impossible to include all cool features in one single game.
I think what makes Ac 1-Ac Rogue so Unique is their simplicity in gameplay and design and the creativity of the story made by men that used their heart.
Simplicity? Well, gameplay-wise i'd disagree because if you want to be good at those games you have to learn the mechanics and not like the RPG saga where everything is braindead.
Don't forget the assassins hunting you down in AC Rogue

as for ac odyssey, the ability to customize your own ship.. its style, and fight with the army... also choosing which side you fight for Athens or Sparta

My favorite thing to do in assassin's creed black flag was to get enemies mad at me and run away doing sick parkore it was fun
you forgot one very important thing BUGSSSSSSS (Ubisoft with no bugs, very rare)
I think the less glitched game of the saga is AC Revelations, the last game with the really old Anvil engine and ubisoft learning how to perfectionate the code of an Ezio Game. AC2 is really good but it has his fair share of glitches, ACBrotherhood didn't have that many glitches, ACRevelations doesn't even have glitches.

Forgot to add taunting for AC 2, wish they brought that feature back, was hilarious to do in AC 2 and Brotherhood.
It wasn't bribing priests to reduce notoriety but loot the money back after its done, for me.

In Odyssey you can talk about the decissions, or the ridiculous side stories (which at the end were fun), the mercenaries, or even that you have a ship again. I think it deserved more love.

@@R_Yasha Yes, it is an AC game, the lore is from AC, Kassandra is a Proto-Assasin, and the cult of Kosmos is Proto-Templar. If you didn't understood the story, then is you fault not from Ubisoft.

Og Assassins Creed was to enjoy the parkour along the story line, now the parkour is like an automatic rather than manual
Because before it was a gameplay mechanic, then it became a traversal system in the later games.

I got the ezio collection and mirage lately and let me tell you ubi actually did what they said they was gonna bring I back to it’s roots the originals are so much more complex I don’t know how I was so good at playin them back then they remind me of the Arkham games I see why Master Assassin and most others are like the old one are better but to be honest Valhalla is still my fav ac game and that’s never changin unless ubi makes a sequel to Valhalla but we all know that’s not gonna happen

Definitely unity is my favourite. The bugs held it back, but if Ubisoft gave it a chance, it would definitely become one of the best assassin's creed games out there. Sad it was labelled a waste potential.
you should have added that in assassin's creed 2 you could hire prostitutes, thieves and mercenaries to help you. Very helpful
Just finished mirage. I have skipped odyssey and Valhalla because I didn’t like the boring storyline and gameplay on it mirage after all these years I can say is at least 20percent close to what the initial 4 games were which got me hooked on to it. That being said I still wish they bring the fluid acrobat mechanics from the first 3 games giving the player ability to do whatever they want without that weird one sec pause after every jump from ledges.
