i have a set and the middle knotch does move back and forth a slight bit which worried me but after use it didnt effect sighting and ive been shooting better then ever
Got my sight and changed it just like you did with the punch and plastic wire connector. It was really easy (scary) lol. Thanks for the video. Good advice on keeping the punch at the same angle as the sight.
Thank you thank you, need to adjust my Glock rear site 1/16 of an inch, every gunshop/Smith in the area charges $25-$40 to do this, I have everything in this video to do it at home. Thank you
SoCalHunter Just curious why did you wind up replacing rear sight? I was thinking of getting one but heard it to easy to move it side to side without using the little Screwdriver
I just bought a P80 a with the sights installed but the back one is so loose it comes out with just the push of my thumb is that normal is not tight and I do not need no tools for it
@@kenuffff Wrong again. Physics is physics, doesn't matter if its a pistol or a rifle: when you raise the back site then the muzzle NEEDS to come up to align the eye to the front site in relation to the back site.
I've been doing this for a year now building Palmer 80s. I wrapped the slide in suede leather and lock it in the vice. Tapping it back and forth has been driving me nuts trying to get it perfect. Rear sight pushers are now $20 on eBay. I wasn't going to pay the $120 they wanted on Amazon, but $20 sure no problem.
It that I am aware...but I’ve heard that removing from right to left and replacing the reverse is best... it sure it’s documented or just word of mouth...but I always slide out the sights from R to L
Huntsville AL?
Thanks for video.. I dropped my Glock and rear site moved. I can fix it now thanks to you 😊
Yes! AL
Just notice my Glock 26s rear sight is pushed WAY right. Going to use this video to try and get it back to center. Thanks!
Thanks for the tip on the punch, worked great 👍

I have a sight pusher, but the wire nut is a great idea. Thanks!

Thanks man, my back site was a little crooked on my new Gen. 5 glock 19. This should do the trick

rebas04 Anytime! Thanks for watching!
SoCalHunter did exactly what you showed in the video, perfect, you saved me $40!!!thanks again
How durable is the Glock adjustable sight ? It looks like if it got snagged on something it might tear it up. Thanks, great video.
Thanks Steven...they are not very durable. I've since replaced them, but for what they are intended for, they work great.

Can you adjust the rear site without disabling the the clock 43?
The Glo-On tip is great too, I will try this on my Glocks, I shoot both a tad low, so some elevation on back sight will help - thanks!
lastdaysguitar raising the sights lowers it further you need to lower them
@@kenuffffWrong. Raising elevation of the BACK site in relation to FRONT site RAISES your shot.
@@lastdaysguitar not on a pistol..

Just what I was looking for. Thx.
Glad I could help!
Does it matter left to right or reverse . no tampered dove tail on Clocks correct?

This video did not age well as the sight's gender was assumed. LMAO!!! Great vid!
