  • I picked this little ratchet up because I liked a lot of the features that were on it. Let’s try it out and see if it was worth the purchase price.

    This is my favorite tool I've ever used and worth every penny. Paid 17 at home depot for it and it's great for getting underneath trigger guards to take out screws. And after using it for regular screw tightening, I don't want to use anything else. Add in the 1/4 inch adapter and this thing does a ton of stuff for an amazing amount of money. Not to mention klein will always take returns, no questions asked

    Ben, how could you NOT test the leatherman bits and extension with this guy on camera?!?! For the love of God, please do a follow-up. You totally teased us when you were poking the extension around the magnet and left us hanging.

      the leatherman bits are a standard 1/4 hex double ended bit with two faces cut down to 1/8 inch thickness. any 1/4 hex tool made to fit standard double ended bits will take the leatherman bits. single ended hex tools with a strong retention system will work with the bit driver.
      there's a universal answer for you, applies for everything from SOG multitools to mini ratchets.

    This is a sweet little ratchet. The combo of the finger loop, thumb wheel, and the low profile make it a unique tool. I keep mine in a Leatherman sheath, which isn’t perfect but I had handy.

    Just bought this as a kit on clearance for 20 bucks at the depot. Ratchet, 8 in 1 stubby and a fine screwdriver. Worth $40.

    After several of your honest trials (hate reviews) you got my subscript, I've got one of these in a wishlist at both the "jungle" store and HD.
    And by the way, the jungle store has several of the empty plastic built holders some that hold a bunch. Picked up one pack of those a while back because they come packaged that way, 'cause like everyone else, you end up with stray bits everywhere, For this, I'll build my own bit kit! Thanks for "sealing the deal.

    Great little ratchet, small enough to get in tight spots and big enough tooth count to work in those small spaces. That finger ring is a great idea for this application as well. Thanks for the look see.

    $14. 97 on Amazon 7/16/2022. Bought one 2 days ago at that price. It does seem like a handy little tool. I do have a few other bits that I keep with it.

    I bought this recently, nice little tool. I even pulled it apart just to see the quality of the internals, and because I like a challenge, a bit fiddly putting things back toggether, but it was an adventure ;) alltogether it breaks down into 5 pieces, with the smallest of springs and pin I've ever seen, needed tweezers to put it back together.

    • @BillDrives
      @BillDrives 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      P.S. It does take leatherman bits no problem, so you can include it in the leatherman pouch with the leatherman flat bits.

    I only wish that there were someway to attach the bit set to the main tool?
    Because with the way that it is, I could totally see myself losing the set of bits or misplacing them and being left with just the main tool.

      Find someone with a 3d printer and get them to create a little clip, or an elastic band might work?

    Should have had a snap ring of some sort or magnet attached to bottom of tip holder to keep wrench and bits together when not in use, storage. The bits and will easily get separated, lost in time, or I don't want to have to dig to bottom of tool bag, or tool box
    Personally, this tool is just another novelty "gift" item for that under $20 from China that might get used once or twice, then disappear into oblivion.
