Best diy conversion I've seen not over complicated and really stylish. Personally I'd have a murphy bed to allow more living space during the day but that's just me.
well constructed with some nice details but there are 2 areas where important opportunities have been missed in the van layout. Incorporating the front seats and cab area into the van by fitting swivel seats dramatically increases visible and usable space within the van and makes the space dual purpose. This is particularly important in a small van where space is at a premium and there is no provision for alternative comfortable seating. Too much space has been allocated to the kitchen where it is likely that travellers will spend less than 45 minutes a day whereas on a rainy day where you might need to spend many hours inside the van there is no comfortable practical seating area with perhaps a removable table to sit and surf the net etc. Having swivel driver passenger seats provides comfortable reclining seats with armrests to surf, read and watch movies TV etc . One of the most successful camper van layouts ever designed for a Ford Transit van is the coachbuilt Autosleeper Duetto and prices for a used 25+ year old Duetto regularly exceed £15,000 ! Compare the facilities and space of this van to a Duetto and you can see why the price of these vans just keep going up and up every year
Why are sprinters normally more popular? This looks smaller but not by much. I am guessing this fits into a regular parking space unlike most sprinter vans, right?

Great Van, how do you find driving in Europe with right hand driving? I guess you are ok with the electric current, because of the off grid capability in Europe? I live in Canada and plan to build Van in Uk and drive around with left hand drive and eventually ship the van for travels in New Zealand.

I’ve been wondering for a long time why most van tours not just this one, would introduce their diesel heater as specifically a Chinese diesel heater? Yes most things are made, full or partly from China love it or hate it. So why it’s usually mentioned when it comes to diesel heaters, like the diesel heater gets all the heat about it lol. This is one of those mysteries that’s like a broken record in your head hahaha! Can’t figure why.

in process of doing up my transit, i'm 6ft4 so gunna have to have bed length ways, you look pretty tall how are you coping?

Hi there, I think there’s a big difference in price, so they are qualifying that their heater was around $200 rather than $2000 - or thereabouts.
