Desantis wants his wife to look shorter to make him look taller so he forces her to always wear a long skirt and walk around with her knees constantly bent
He is correct on people who are 5'11 lie about their height, I just go in the opposite direction I tell everyone I'm 5'10 because I love watching the guys that are shorter at me than work squirm as they try to explain how they're actually 6 ft tall.
@2:15 hahahahahahahaha, when the host asks Desantis how tall he is and he says (lies) "5'11", you can see him reflexively stand up straighter and push his chin out 😂😭
And did you notice he did not mention half of the question, which was... Why don't you wear running shoes and dress shoes? He didn't answer the second half of the question at all or explain why he wears cowboy boots all the time... You can definitely see that his heel is lifted and thrust. His entire foot forward, and then when you see videos of him walking, it's obvious that the boots are extra big to accommodate whatever hes wearing under his heel to boost his height.
Sounds like DeSantis people told him "Wear the boots, it'll go viral like 'the heck is that?' and you'll be relevant again" and now he's getting dunked on and can't handle it
Ya, Patty Bet Davey seems to enjoy that, he's not even passive aggressive about it. He seems like an awful person, but it is enjoyable to see him do it to DeSantis, if only he had enough integrity to do it to maga and Trump.
The average height of a guy in the USA is supposedly 5' 9". How can that be considered short if it's average? Short should be below average. The problem I think is that so many people (especially people who are public figures like politicians, athletes, and entertainers) lie about their height by pretending that their height in shoes is their barefoot height. That means you need to subtract one or two inches to get their true height. We know from visual comparisons and word of mouth on so many of these people. I'm slightly over 5' 10" barefoot and close to 6 ft in sneakers but I don't claim 5' 11" or 6 ft. I say I'm 5' 10". So when you've got every guy claiming to be two inches taller than they really are, it creates a perception that 5' 9" is short because a lot of those are really 5' 7" to 5' 8" guys (and perhaps not coincidentally, 5' 7" is the average height of men in the entire world). That could explain how 5' 11" might ne perceived as average among public figures because those are really 5' 9" to 5' 10" guys claiming to be 5' 11". From personal experience, I knew a guy who I clearly had about three inches on and yet he claimed to be 5' 9" (even had it on his driver's license). I also had a friend who was about an inch taller than me and yet he claimed with the utmost seriousness that he was 6' 1" barefoot. Is Ron DeSantis one of those guys who is maybe 5' 8" but wears boots with lifts to look like he's almost 6 ft? Maybe.
I'm 6'2", and I've heard the same thing about guys claiming that height, lol. I think every guy around 5'11" just rounds to 6'2". 😂😂 Guys, let me be honest, 6'2" isn't some magic height. You won't get laid more just because you say you're 6'2" on Tinder. 😂😂😂
This biggest point imo is he can't wear shoe lifts in his boots anymore. If he does, he literally risks the most embarrassing moment of his political career when someone calls it out while he's wearing them. The whole Internet is also going to be hyper focused on his shoes every time he's in public now so the pictures and memes are just going to get worse if he wears them anymore. So imo the only way to go is for him to to wear regular boots with no lifts. But while this is the better option, it also creates a problem. People will notice he's gotten smaller standing next to certain people. And there will be comparisons between how his foot looks in his boots, before and after show lifts. Either way this is super embarrassing for him and there's literally no clean way out in my opinion.
Ben Shapiro was shilling cowboy boots designed for shorter men. You get the same thing in trainers as well. People are free to spend their hard-earned cash however they please. But I'd much rather they were happy in who they are.

@@saraza4977he just seriously overdid it. there’s SO MUCH heel.
First, Ron fails with white rubber boots. Now, he fails with lift boots.
A clear indication he needs a style guru :P .
His shoe game weak
It's the old OJ rule, "If the boot doesn't fit, you must admit the guy wearing them is talkin sh*t.

Ron DeSantis: “These Boots Are Made For Lifting”
You know DeSantis isn't really 5'11 because EVERY 5'11 man says he's 6 feet
lol facts
Cept for autistic men. Autistic folk TEND to always want to be as precise as possible and accurate as possible. I say this as an autistic, not a man though although I do have autistic guy friends.
true lol, i'm 5'11 but i say i'm 6 feet because i'm 6 feet with my shoes on
No wonder people keep telling me I must be 6' 3".
Lol, I finally got it 5 posts down, hahaha 😂 good one 👍
Desantis wants his wife to look shorter to make him look taller so he forces her to always wear a long skirt and walk around with her knees constantly bent
🤔
I'm not even sure if you're serious, but I had a good laugh at the thought anyway.
She wears flats around him, you're not wrong.
😅😅😅😂. She walks around like a troll???😂
This is hilarious when you know that Dennis Kucinich was a presidential candidate at one point and you know how tall his wife is.
It actually looks almost like he's wearing a high heel woman shoe inside the boot
DeSantis hiding the fact he's wearing shoes to make himself look taller is literally a George from Seinfeld story.
one of these days we'll get a presidential candidate that will confidently wear 4 inch platform heels but for now we have Ron
President Pimp Daddy
The Platform Platform 2028!
I’m 5’11 and 3/4” and have never said I’m 6’. Always feel like someone is gonna pull out a tape measure
Pretty much
I’m 5’10 and a half and I say I’m 6’ and I’ve always gotten away with it. I appear taller than I really am… maybe because I’m slender
When I tell doctors Im 5'11 and one half they say theyll just put 6ft. every time
This is literal height-drag for rw cis het men. Like the performing gender expectations through costume, dear god
He's probably banning drag shows in Florida just to make it easier for him to buy high heels for men.
@@alexpkeaton4471 "All those damn drag queens buying up all the high heel shoes in men's sizes! This has to stop!"
@@KomradeKrusher YASSSSS queen!!!🤣😂
So you case is that he's trying to look more like a man by wearing high heels.
He is correct on people who are 5'11 lie about their height, I just go in the opposite direction I tell everyone I'm 5'10 because I love watching the guys that are shorter at me than work squirm as they try to explain how they're actually 6 ft tall.
@2:15 hahahahahahahaha, when the host asks Desantis how tall he is and he says (lies) "5'11", you can see him reflexively stand up straighter and push his chin out 😂😭
If only Ron would just strut like he's secure.
"I do wear tennis shoes, when I work out " head bobbing more than a chicken eating corn
Bro really had a Yogi Berra anecdote in the chamber to respond to this specific question lol that's how you know it is definitely on his mind.
ron said "let people make em think they're saying im ugly too"
It’s like when George Costanza wore timberlands on his first date with Jerry’s friend, Nina, so he had to wear them on every subsequent date.
Looks super awkward like everything about him
claims that he wears them when he "works out."
87,000+ Floridians died from Covid. How can PBD say, with a straight face, Ron did the best job in handling Covid, out of everyone?
Sounds like DeSantis people told him "Wear the boots, it'll go viral like 'the heck is that?' and you'll be relevant again" and now he's getting dunked on and can't handle it
Isn't this what they call negging? Where you knock someone down then boost em back up.
Ya, Patty Bet Davey seems to enjoy that, he's not even passive aggressive about it. He seems like an awful person, but it is enjoyable to see him do it to DeSantis, if only he had enough integrity to do it to maga and Trump.
@ComradeCatpurrnicus Honestly Desantis have a bad marketing team. Pat is just being honest with him.
First time I've seen this PBD guy, but I have to say this is some high level trolling
6:58 “we’ve been an exemplary leader” is such a weird way to refer to yourself 😂
The obviously empty toe area of his boots is the hilarious result of the inner heel propping him up.
Wow. Fucking brutal. Fantastic viewing.
This is the stupidity I need for a brief moment of levity among all the horrendous stuff goin on.
Thank you very much♡
That man does not work out.
Maybe.
The yellow drawing 😂
I'm 6'2", and I've heard the same thing about guys claiming that height, lol. I think every guy around 5'11" just rounds to 6'2". 😂😂
Guys, let me be honest, 6'2" isn't some magic height. You won't get laid more just because you say you're 6'2" on Tinder. 😂😂😂
He’s 5’8” max, LOL. He looks ridiculous in those boots with a 3 to 4 inches of lift in them.
Seen the "we" thing before. There is a pattern of him doing that when he feels attacked.
Oh my god who cares if a man is short. Just accept it and own it. He's so insecure, it's painful. Reminds me of a certain ex-president...
That squint to see the TikTok video tells me that he should also be wearing glasses
He's one of those "real men don't wear glasses" types for sure
He was going to buy some Cuban Heels but they're too "Commie".
As soon as they pointed it out it looks like he's wearing these goofy elf shoes oml
Nikki Haley on the next debate: “As one of the 2 candidates wearing high heels tonight….”
He needs to embrace his short king status. Everything else will fall in line.
“Those are standard off the rack Luchese boots” - probably true, but sidestepping the fact that he has added lift inserts.
00:25 OMFG, Sam's face! That is adorable.
im actually glad men are being called out for their appearance.
I love this. He's totally wearing heels in his boots. His boots are totally designed in the same way a woman's high heels are designed
high heels *are designed

I'm 5'10 but say I'm 5'11 just because I'm close enough to the latter that I don't think it makes much difference. I don't normally make fun of someone for what they wear, unless what they're wearing is used to garner attention in an obnoxious way but I couldn't stop laughing when they showed the pictures. They not only looked ridiculous but they looked like they hurt and were just weirdly worn if that makes sense.
Hey! I'm 5'11 and don't say 6 feet cuz that's lying.

@@AchmedComedy_ why?
For the life of me, I can't fathom why DeSantis didn't just wait for 2028. He was never going to beat Trump (all the reporters, pundits and donors that wanted him to run were either hoping for a good story to write about or thinking Trump would somehow stay out and DeSantis would clean up). The worst thing that could happen would be that he looked so bad that not only did he piss off the MAGA base and ensure that they would never vote for him and look like such a chump that non-MAGAites wouldn't vote for him either. Ooops.
You can tell the front of the boot is turned up like the witch shoes in Wizard of Oz
