Thank you sir I watch this video once a year just moments before I go out and fog my engine it’s a good reminder video just to make sure I’m doing it right thank you very much will see you in the spring🇺🇸
Newer G1 ETECs require the throttle to be fully advanced and then pulled all the way back to neutral, so everyone watching should read the manual for their engine to ensure the proper procedure. I'd also recommend you put the fuel stabilizer in prior to your last day on the water so that it can fully circulate through all the lines and engine while running. Perhaps you did that prior to making this video, but if not, you'll have stale gas sitting in your lines and engine all winter.
I use only NON ETHANOL GASOLINE😊 So like in the 60’s NO STABILIZATION REQUIRED❤️ The problem is the 💩ETHANOL💩….NOT the gasoline straight gasoline doesn’t go bad🇺🇸
Used this video to winterize my evinrude motor. VEry helpful. Reading on Evinrude it says to store the engine in the upright position for any leftover water to drain. Also, I had to put my throttle fully on, then back to a click into neutral then back into full throttle and it worked! Thank you
Nick stunts sometimes the line is bent and water lays ,plus a friend had a pump that the water layer in and broke, you just need a little bit till it runs out the drain in back to be sure

Glad it helped !
Thanks for the refresher on winterizeing , I would just run stabilizer through motor first like other comments said so motor is protected

Great video buddy, Thanks for sharing & Greetings from Greece
+Boats, Fishing, Guitars & Rock n Roll thank you
RIP your impeller. That is now how that hose connection is used.
do you have water running in that flush port while engine is running the winterization mode?
Add Stabilizer your last trip out to protect the gas left in the engine.
Why don't you add fuel stabilizer before you run the engine, so that the fuel with stabilizer, enters the system, carburators, injectors.... ??
Fuel stabilizer Always goes in 5 t9 20 minutes before fogging your engine.
This water is only for flushing when engine is off
Olá por que seu rpm não está funcionando?
O meu está igual .
Doesnt make sny sense to flush a livewell drain with antifreeze. If it doesnt hold water it doesnt need antifreeze.

And your impeler is burned
Your right this plug it’s only for rincé with freshwater when your boat stay in the sea.
