truly amazing man, i was not moving in my chair, i was holding my breathe and everything, and i've seen this 20 times.... what a great guy and family he comes from..
I can not begin to tell you how much of an inspiration your family has been to me throughout my lifetime. Karl Wallenda was my childhood hero, as I am sure you are to many people as well. Many thanks to you and your family, for the many years of dedication and sacrifice! I am a science teacher and make references to your family's act, whenever conducting physics lessons with my students. Thank you again and best wishes. :)
cruzintheworld, I know that you posted this comment 5 months ago but I just had to respond. First of all, Mr. Wallenda is very kind as I have met him before and he has a wife and kids, he's a pretty normal guy. Nik Wallenda knows what he's doing and the risks involved. I'm sure that he learned a lot more about the safety and risks since his grandfather's death. Finally, take responsibility! If he had fallen on tv, it would have been out of NBC's control! You could always turn off the tv!
Mr. Wallenda, on the off chance that you ever get to read this, I give you but one piece of advice before you go over Niagara Falls: whatever you do, don't drink any liquids. You will be a few hundred feet above A LOT of rushing water and there shall be no agony quite like having to pee really badly and the sound of flowing water reminding you of it every five seconds.... Other than that, knock 'em dead.
Probably magnetism. The bike has of course no tire. It drives like a train on a rail reinforced with magnetism. If you put electricity through the wire you can make it a very strong magnet. I dont know if it is like that, just what i think.
He almost lost it at 6:22; he had a good recovery however, otherwise he would have gone to join the great Karl Wallenda in the great tightrope arena in the sky....

Hi Nik Wallenda! I've watched you at Niagara Falls, and you are really amazing!!!!
You're probably right. NBC moniters its broadcasts pretty tightly just like every other news station out there.

I met him at Knotts Berry Farm. I agree, he was very nice and very talented.
Really Amazing
I like the moment he looks as though he is walking on air
Don't know what you are griping about. He seems like a nice kid and he definitely has balls of steel.
This is UNREAL.
Gee honey, I`d like to talk but I`m on a highwire right now!

When did you start using the support strap for the balance pole? I notice you're not using it here.

You clearly know nothing about electromagnetism. The only thing electricity could eventually do through the wire is to brake the bike.
whoa. 6:23,, he almost fell. scared the crap out of me. anywayss,, good job man!! wow. x]

without monetary gain, may be investigated by the FBI and is punishable by up to five years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000." finw
at 6:22 Death smiles at close!
but if it's a luger at the olympics!
Unbelievable irritating with a copter flying around.
wired
Well if you see a "risk for your children"...be a GOOD parent and don't let them watch it. Suing for something like that is pathetic.
Is he doing this without safety wire? Because if so, it should be illegal. And if he dies, he totally deserves it.
NewjackOFF. it's called the freedom to be a human being. go FUCK yourself.
Fuck off
