Love stevie, "our priority is us" , that's the best thing he said in the interview. I hope he takes a look at hearts and puts forth youth, it's not about just going out and spend 30 million, Rangers are a mess, he's taken on a massive job and I don't think he realises how damaged the club is. Can't wait for next season.

As s rangers fan I think we need to allow him time and not be snapping at his heels every move. I think always looking for the quick fix is damaging and we need to be patient and build a strong side. So I’d be happy if in 1st season he made Celtic sweat and really push them but after that we gotta be really challenging to stop this 10 in a row. We have 3 seasons to stop it and that’s a long time in football.
Your spot on, looking for the quick fix is damaging Rangers. I think rather than your club making their main aim over the next few years to stop Celtic winning 10 in a row, it should be about building a strong squad and development of the young academy players
Fast forward a couple years and in my lifetime as I was only 10 wen rangers last won the league and now were gonna win it and in my opinion he's got rangers playing the best football I've ever seen them play in Europe of draws go our way think we can go far and become a dominant force in Europe

What Steven Gerrard bring to Rangers is his determination and a level of professionalism we have lacked of late, every player will need to ship up, or he will be on his way. I feel just by hearing him, he is not a guy to be messed with, Gary Mac will let some of these under achievers know what it means to play for our great club. LETS GO!
What a great spokesman, convincing and may not have management experience but will make a excellent coach, and will embrace the challenge, could make mistakes that is how most people or managers learn, who would not want to play for stevie G

I'm excited to be a rangers fan right now, I'm surprised mostly because I had no idea Gerrard had the intent to become a manager. I think he will bring a lot to Rangers. Gerrard is top flight and use to playing top end and winning. I also think he will attract better players. A Gerrard Rangers. This could be the start if an era.

Gerrard carries himself incredibly well. He's clearly an intelligent bloke. He was also one of the few attacking midfielders that continued playing at the highest level by adjusting to a new role once he had lost a lot of pace due to injuries. He clearly has a great understanding of the game!
I'm an Englishman, but I'm sick of the disrespect that is being shown for Scottish football. Once Rangers are challenging Celtic again, we will no doubt see the league become more competitive in Europe. Personally, I'd rather see young talent being loaned out to a Scottish team that is playing European football, over a club in the English Championship.

As a Celtic fan I am VERY surprised he went there, but good luck to him as I really liked him as a player, but I do believe he will be shocked with the goldfish bowl pressure of living & working in Glasgow as part of the Old Firm with the hatred & bile that comes with it. I personally think he's on a hiding to nothing, but good luck to him as he raises the profile of Scottish football at a time when it definitely needs it. He conducts himself well & as long as he finishes second, he's fine by me.
