Hey I have good news, I bought some 3x 0.5mm magnets and it worked! I made it all stong attract and strong repell, basically 8x6 = 48 magnets were added. It feels like a true maglev cube. It just did a U8!
I'm really liking this cube. I like to customize my own cubes and this gives you a lot of options. You can even change the magnets ring under the center cap, it really give it a different feel. I was waiting for someone to drop a video on this cube that really went I to the specifics of this cube. Great job!
Interesting cube. I like that manufacturers think about different ways to make the puzzle more customizable without making the process too complicated. I'm curious to see how this cube compares to the other recently released ones.
@I watched this Based on all the great cubes released this year most manufacturers seem to know that a good cube is key and the costumization system is only the cherry on top. The manufacturers who ignore that will likely not succeed.
I'd be super excited to get this in 2020 when I was just starting, but now... kinda meh. Give me a cube which has everything in it, adjustable, preferably without tools. Tornado v3 is perfect - the only thing to make it totally tool-free would be magnets adjustable by fingers.
You can watch official Diansheng youtube channel, they explain all the features on MS3X. And the DIY magnets looks very cool, you can do normal mode or something like maglev mode when the magnets repells
Sounds heavier and quieter than new GAN but wouldn't that just be similar to the GAN 356 X? I feel since the 356 X, there's been more than enough adjustments in cubes, but more doesn't hurt. I don't like pulling and entire cube apart for adjustments it gets tedious but I've gotten better at it. I find with all adjustable puzzles once you have it setup you don't tend to change them unless your cubing style changes. However I only tend to notice my style has changed when going to a new cube and I'm always going lighter. I'd be a bit concerned about a bullet or magnet slipping or changing position, I dunno how likely that would be. I suspect this is a lot cheaper than a GAN and customization in itself can be fun. I imagine this will be a fun cube for many.
Would you know if there is a difference between the black and primary internals other than the colour? Some of the advertising suggests there may be differences between the two.
I plan to get a black one to see if a difference is apparent. My assumption is there is not one. Any difference in feeling based on color for most any other puzzle is a claim often made in cubing that doesn't actually exist.
Hi, on speedcube shop it says it has corner and edge magnets. Do they auto align for the cube or is it more manageable? Also with the magnetic system in the center I assume it's not maglev because the site describes springs. What does that actually do for the cube? Thanks and I like the music used for the video it matches the more chill vibe of the video.
They, like every other magnetic puzzle has the corner edge. It has them in two spots as well on each piece. I would never worry about the "auto align" as that's more of a gimmick on another puzzle and doesn't actually do anything during a solve. No maglev which IMO is a good thing. Maglev has an exponential push which doesn't give as much variety as springs.
@@SpeedCubeReview ah that's good I misinterpreted the listing. I thought corner and edge meant corner to core and edge magnets like the 13. I don't like the auto alignment stuff so it's good to hear that it's not corner and edge to core. I also prefer springs I find maglev makes my solves more blocky or choppy. Not sure exactly what words to use but if springs are an option I go for it. I was more curious about what the ring of magnets do around the screw. Thanks for the reply btw that clears it up a lot for me
@@SpeedCubeReview I disagree about auto-alignment being a gimmick. It corrects your underturns and overturns better than just the traditional corner-edge magnets. I can definitely feel the difference between my Tornado v3 Standard and Pioneer - the Pioneer does this correction, the Standard doesn't, and I often find myself underturning on it.
@@OlgaFyodorova i definitely agree on you. I myself experienced it. In my opinion if you’re a light turner like me, I do feel the difference. On the other hand, if you’re an aggressive turner, it will help aligning itself when finishing solves. Thus, keeping away from +2s 😅 PS: i do have Tornadov3 flagship and MS3x.
Idk, it's pretty good, but I think the spring system is pretty limiting, the tightest settings are still a little too loose for my preferences. I still get decent times with it, but it's not my favorite
Get the Tengyun v3! It's like a Tengyun v1, guhong v4 and weilong wrm 2019. Plus the magnet adjustment of the Tengy is phenomenal. You only have to adjust one side of 8 corners and the whole thing is swapped. It takes 15 seconds to do. Please get the Tengyun v3
@@bananacuber02 yes but I still don't know about the inner magnets or how much the core settings actually changes the cube. I don't really like the v2 feeling, so I hope it's not like that, but I never tried the Guhong so I don't know what It feels like 🤷 On the other hand I love the ms3-v1 😅
@@bananacuber02 the only thing that keeps me away from buting it is with Tengyun v3, you have to swap the center pieces for different tension. Well maybe im just used to Gan13 wherein you only need one tool to change to different settings. 😅
Hi Speed cube review! I need help and i just got it… I put some magnets in the extra rotating discs and when I tried to get it off, it wont. Is it stuck? Please I really wanna know what it feels like when changed to strong magnets. Any ideas?

The one my mom bought me is trash a magnet got loose I took apart th corner normally and it would stick out and I’m missing colors to corners

Yup this looks like a lot of effort for not much reward hey?
Coloring both sides of the magnets to indicate the poles is the only thing I can suggest to it.
Oh wow, so customizable! Got my eye on this one!!
My main is the MS3L Enhanced (Previous version of the MS3X). I can't wait to see what this cube is like!
Wow, That very interesting! I hope Thailand will import this soon.

Well done on 100k!
The cube itself is really good. Its better than last years.
Super interesting how the magnets Ann attract or repel depending on your preference
I already got this cube since im in china and this cube is amazing
Well, the Zhanchi had detachable torpedos, they were just another piece you could or not put between both edge pieces.
That's true
just when i thought there is no where else magnets can go to, mscube comes up with another place for magnets
I loved the video! When you were changing the cube into torpedo mode you missed a corner and it made me very triggered 😆

Hi, Thanks for responding. Im talking about the “magnets” on the ring. Do you know how to take them off?
@nugget3286 I am not sure, possibly another magnet on it to pull it out
