      One can be without sin yet still a sinner... I understand that we can not become sinless yet we can be sin free. Now, we can as Jesus calls for; “go and sin no more” John5:14

    Let's ALL fast and pray for Walter and Martin, their families, and all the amazing Discoveries staff. Most certainly the enemy is super wroth with their efforts to proclaim the three angels messages and expose the unfruitful works of darkness!! 🙏

      From what the SOP says, we are to fast and pray for the Holy spirit to come into us to have a closer walk with God and to have understanding the scriprures and to have a will to do Gods will no matter what. I have never read to fast and pray for people. If we have the Holy spirit in us we will pray the right prayers and not ask for things we shouldn't. God says don't worry about what to pray, for the Holy spirit will give you the words to say.

    I have grappled with this issue for months. The more I study the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, the more clear our sinful state becomes. The more one learns, the more you see how high God's perfection is. And the contrast with yourself becomes so so so great. This has been an incredibly valuable and enlightening 2-part study. Thank you so so so much for your time and effort in studying this topic, compiling the evidence out of God's truth, and sharing it with all of us. May God bless you abundantly.

    So appreciated this. I've been pondering these topics since I became a Christian at 24, decades ago. Christ is our righteousness. He that hath the Son hath life. We die daily and confess our great need of His perfect righteousness. We know without Him we can do nothing (good, spiritual etc.). We invite the Holy Spirit to work in us to will and to do His good pleasure. We make choices. He provides strength and power in our lives. We pray and learn through study of Him. We grow, but at every step, problem, stumbling, victory...Christ is our only righteousness.
    I loved what you said about God declaring us righteous etc., but we can never do that. Truly, in ourselves we see how deficient we are. Having said that, we have assurance by faith in the promises of God's Word.If he declares it, we accept it by faith. It's like a 2 sided coin...we are totally unworthy yet declared perfect in Christ.
    The parable of the workers all receiving the same coin came to mind. The early workers complained they had worked all day and the very recently hired workers received the same wage. Christ's merit, not ours, is always our reward, regardless how long we've been a Christian.
    This parable also fits well into the last generation theology. Last or first, long dead or alive at His coming, our passport to heaven is always the wonderful, perfect righteousness of our lovely Saviour.
    Thank you for tackling this.

    I am happy that I have a Choice in my Salvation through Jesus Christ.
    I am content to make No Other Choice than to continually Choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour; my Righteousness; although it comes with severe lashings out at me by the adversary and those through whom He works.
    By God's grace I'll continuously:
    Dwell in the secret place of the most High; under the shadow of the Almighty. He is my Refuge and my Fortress; I shall continue to trust in Him; His Truth shall be my Shield and Buckler.
    Thank You, dear Lord for Choosing me; and for helping me to each day, make You my Choice.
    Thank you to my friends at AD Africa Ministries. This presentation was very necessary to be made. The Lord continues to be with you.

    "None of the apostles and prophets ever claimed to be without sin. Men who have lived the nearest to God, men who would sacrifice life itself rather than knowingly commit a wrong act, men whom God has honored with divine light and power, have confessed the sinfulness of their nature. They have put no confidence in the flesh, have claimed no righteousness of their own, but have trusted wholly in the righteousness of Christ." {Acts of the Apostles 561.1}

    Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! I have been studying this over a year with all the research praying and Bible reading I have come up with the same conclusion here almost verbatim in some points made me scream with joy!!!! The correct understanding of righteousness by faith is the bottom line!! The majority of times offshoots/independence have this wrong and spread out in several different directions with the mask of different issues-Father/Son, Reforms etc but if you look behind the mask of whatever movement this is the underlying issue the majority of the time! And why? People underestimate the blinding power of Satan-He HATES the righteousness of Christ

  • @RelentlessHomesteading
    @RelentlessHomesteading 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    At 43 minutes - good discussion about after probation closes and we are standing without a mediator. Appreciate the logic on debunking some of those myths about this time period.
    So important the phrasing "within their sphere" - I often think of those that are saved just prior to the close of probation. Those that have known the truth for decades are in a different 'sphere' than those that have more recently come to Truth. Jesus is the same throughout time - and just as the thief on the cross will make it to heaven because of faith in the merits of Christ, so to will those that are the last converts before the sealing takes place. Great - you came back to this very issue at 58 minutes, and even speaking of the thief on the cross.
    Really appreciated the talk about 'presumption'. It takes so many forms, and so often masquerades as faith. When I first came to Christ it was in a Sunday keeping denomination. They preached a 'name it claim it' sort of doctrine; where IF you had sufficient faith and stepped out in that faith - THEN God would bless you to attain. I was a baby Christian, but stepped out in a huge way and was CERTAIN God would fulfill the object of that step. SPLAT !!! Nearly ruined my life and that of my family. We can always know that when things don't go as we desire - we need to look at our apprehensions and suppositions, and not blame God. Anyway after some study God opened to me more truth on discerning between presumption and faith. Even Jesus Himself did not take the 'bait' on stepping off the precipice and the angels catching his feet; and yet we the supposed people of God so often do so.
    And yet there is a presumption as well on the other side - the side of taking NO step and doing NOTHING. There are those even in Adventism that hold that since they can do nothing on their own and that Christ will take care of them; ...that they need not trouble themselves in working towards those objects, whether it be greater scriptural knowledge (getting settled in the truth) or fidelity to Christ or in physical preparations in a world being turned upside down. For example, we have had a warning for over a hundred years about getting out of the cities, and yet many that God has blessed with the proper time and resources have not done so. Certainly there are some in city ministries which may not be able without leaving their God given duty; and God will bless their faithfulness. And yet there is a larger class which squander the resources given them by God for vacations, ostentation, and articles of pleasure, instead of relocating and meaningfully learning to garden and make other physical and mental preparations - and yet they still expect that God will bless them with what they need through the little time of trouble. They are presuming upon God, and that presumption will likely bear a very bitter harvest.

    Thank you for a clear explanation.
    1. The reason why Christ had to come to earth as a babe was, though born sinless, he had to develop a perfect human character, which was achieved by His total reliance and faith in His Father;
    2. By his faith in God, Abraham was accounted righteous, Galatians 3:6;
    3. Therefore, the righteous will be saved because they are found to fulfill Revelation 14:12; “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and have the faith OF Jesus.”
    4. In conclusion: “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” Jude 24

    How uplifting and positive it was with the thief at the cross. Even he will come to heaven one day, not studied the Bible, not baptized, he just put all his trust in Jesus Christ. It's that simple. ❤️

      The thief on the Cross according to the book Desire of Ages was convicted and gave his life to Christ but was turned away by the scribes and Pharisees and went back to his old friends and was caught up with them and given the death penalty. Praise God that he was still convicted that Christ was the Messiah on the Cross received pardon and will have eternal life at the second coming. Not all will have that opportunity at the Cross as the thief did so I hope that you study your Bible diligently and make your salvation sure. God bless

    This discussion has put peace in my heart knowing that we don't have to become perfect on our own, but through Christ. I recently heard other ministries push last generation theology and became very discouraged. I have been praying for discernment and this video has answered my prayers. Thank you AD.

    This was a very good discussion. The bottom line is that we are covered by the righteousness of Christ and that is the only thing that qualifies us to enter heaven with or without a mediator. I do think the last generation is going to go through hell starting from the enforcement of the mark of the beast through the time of trouble which some past generations didn’t have to experience so the seal of God is necessary for survival. I do think the seal is more than just settling into the truth but God’s supernatural means of keeping you from falling and shielding you from temptation otherwise it would seem like man’s own effort to be settled into the truth. Maybe Walter and Martin should do a session of what it means to be settled into the truth.

      Most of them are members of the general conference, which has been back in bed with Rome. I even went to a service at a little country conference church and was appalled at what they were teaching and all of it was NIV, NKJV and other Vaticanus Vulgate texts. They have left their first Love.

    About the thief on the cross... he asked the other thief if he doesn’t fear God? This was the 1st Angel message. One thief accepted Christ as His only SAVIOR and then he tried to witness to the other thief the 1st Angel Message. The other thief rejected it and had fallen just like Babylon .
    You see the characteristics of the 3 Angel Messages can be found in all the histories of the Bible’s. These messages prepare Gods people to stand in the Day of the Lord, which is Sunday Law onward until the earth begins its own Sabbath, the 1000 years.
    Praise the Lord!!

    I want to ask a question to Professor Veith, a man of God that inspires me every time I listen to his videos. A question regarding Baptism. Is it Biblical to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19) or to be baptized only in the name of Jesus, as in Acts 2: 38?. Thanks Professor Veith, may God be with you and support you in your precious ministry!

    Appreciate the respectful manner in which this is presented. There is much Truth, but where I differ is in the idea that there is no difference between the last generation and previous generations. By definition, the last generation lives without an Intercessor which no other generation has ever done; they sing the song of Moses and if The Lamb, which none other will be allowed to do, and they sing a new song which no one else could learn except the 144,000 (see Revelation 14:3; 15:3,4). They also endure a time if terrible such as has never been (which again makes them unique!); Daniel 12:1. They have a special place and heaven, as they have an exclusive experience with Christ that others never did partake of. Otherwise there's no reason to single out the hundred and forty four thousand. I definitely agree though, that this will be no less an act of Grace by the Almighty then it was for any other generation. But it is so clear. The final generation will not merely have the experience of Abraham, Adam, Noah, Lot, it even Job, but they will have they go through the Gethsemane experience of Jesus Christ who did no sin, because in his agony he declared, "not my will but thy will be done." He had the ability to sin, but did no sin. No one who takes this stance (of not my will but Thine) will be living in willful or even unwillful sin, lest God should be made a liar, and lest it be possible to be led of the Spirit and led into sin (see Galatians 5:16). Special indeed, but no less an act of God's grace. Further, if we're going to say that not being able to send means not having a choice oh, then you have to say the same thing about choosing to follow Jesus. Can the people decide to stop following Jesus after the decree goes forth? Yes! Will they? No! If that is true of their commitment to Jesus, why would it not also be true of their decision to not sin?

    re: the utterings @ the 1:03:00 mark, it was a reminder to me of the
    dec. 7 (p. 350 if not mistaken) of the e.g.w. devotional book titled, 'this day with God',
    where the specific reading titled "Eternal Loss" on the aforementioned day,
    tempers some preconceived ideas we'd had about a differing of attainments upon reaching heaven;
    btw, while we're at it, since veith a few times throughout made allusion to meeting people that had declared themselves to be sinless, I cannot help to think of a specific case that he mentions in 1 of his life testimonies, where a man went to veith's house & upon walter opening the door, the man told veith 'i am perfect; I don't have anymore a craving for cheese'-),
    & upon telling that true anecdote that happened to him, he stated that he wouldn't believe that something like that would happen unless he'd seen it with its own eyes; of how brazenly presumptuous people could get, this side of heaven..

    • @kelvinleroux6568

      Read the paragraphs following to a reference he used:
      Be careful, exceedingly careful as to how you dwell upon the human nature of Christ. Do not set Him before the people as a man with the propensities of sin. He is the second Adam. The first Adam was created a pure, sinless being, without a taint of sin upon him; he was in the image of God. He could fall, and he did fall through transgressing. Because of sin, his posterity was born with inherent propensities of disobedience. But Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of God. He took upon Himself human nature, and was tempted in all points as human nature is tempted. He could have sinned; He could have fallen, but not for one moment was there in Him an evil propensity. He was assailed with temptations in the wilderness, as Adam was assailed with temptations in Eden. 13MR 18.1
      Bro. Baker, avoid every question in relation to the humanity of Christ which is liable to be misunderstood. Truth lies close to the track of presumption. In treating upon the humanity of Christ, you need to guard strenuously every assertion, lest your words be taken to mean more than they imply, and thus you lose or dim the clear perceptions of His humanity as combined with divinity. His birth was a miracle of God; for, said the angel, “Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great and shall be called the son of the Highest; and the Lord shall give unto him the throne of his Father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing that I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” 13MR 18.2
      These words are not addressed to any human being, except to the Son of the Infinite God. Never, in any way, leave the slightest impression upon human minds that a taint of, or inclination to corruption rested upon Christ, or that He in any way yielded to corruption. He was tempted in all points like as man is tempted, yet He is called that holy thing. It is a mystery that is left unexplained to mortals that Christ could be tempted in all points like as we are, and yet be without sin. The incarnation of Christ has ever been, and will ever remain a mystery. That which is revealed, is for us and for our children, but let every human being be warned from the ground of making Christ altogether human, such an one as ourselves: for it cannot be. The exact time when humanity blended with divinity, it is not necessary for us to know. We are to keep our feet on the rock, Christ Jesus, as God revealed in humanity. 13MR 19.1
      I perceive that there is danger in approaching subjects which dwell on the humanity of the Son of the infinite God. He did humble Himself when He saw He was in fashion as a man, that He might understand the force of all temptations wherewith man is beset. 13MR 19.2
      The first Adam fell: the second Adam held fast to God and His word under the most trying circumstances, and His faith in His Father's goodness, mercy, and love did not waver for one moment. “It is written” was His weapon of resistance, and it is the sword of the Spirit which every human being is to use. “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me”-nothing to respond to temptation. Not one occasion has been given in response to His manifold temptations. Not once did Christ step on Satan's ground, to give him any advantage. Satan found nothing in Him to encourage his advances. 13MR 19.3
      As teachers we need to understand that the object and teaching of our Lord was to simplify in all His instruction, the nature and the necessity of the moral excellence of character which God through His Son has made every provision that human agents should obtain, that they may be laborers together with Jesus Christ. This God requires, and to this end the ministers of the gospel should work, both in their education of the people, and in the ministry of the word. 13MR 20.1

    We are not sinless but we are to purpose in our hearts never to sin against God as given by example in Jesus as he declared himself without sin KJV John 14:30-31
    30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
    31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
    If Jesus is our example than we must always do as he has done with humble and contrite heart
