I will say they seem to work as advertised. I'm a 2.5 hdcp and tried them out just for the heck of it this morning since I won a sleeve of them as a door prize in a recent tournament I played. Shot a +1 score of 73, which isn't unheard of for me, but I was still very impressed. 17 consecutive pars and a bogey on the last hole (a 217yd par 3) with 16 greens in regulation. If my putting had been better that could easily have been a few strokes under par. 2 putted everything but I'll take that every day.
edit - just to clarify something, I don't think I've ever made 17 consecutive pars in my life. So yeah, I'm impressed.

I played with these today and shot my second lowest ever score +9 41 points and could have defo added some points .. they 100% do something to help the ball straighten up.. very impressed .. il be using this ball going forward

I tried these on Saturday, I believe I lost some distance (which is Ok) but I hit more fairways then usual. Plus I played the same ball throughout the round.

I tried this golf ball for the first time Sunday.. I’m a 9-10 handicap currently and I shot a 76 with it, I was super impressed
James Robinson tested the new Wilson Triad legal straight ball. It looks like it performs better than the Maxfli. They are available on February 15. I won't be able to try them until the snow melts in Toronto. Hope you can try hem out before I do so I will know what you think of them.

I wonder if a launch monitor can predict the flight of a ball like this? Seems like the correction is happening continuously as the ball flies so how would it know?
I’m not sure it does mate some of them drives were showing not straight despite the guys visually watching and saying they were straight

This ball in my opinion is less than OK. IF you want a ball that flies straighter than ANYTHING YOU EVER HIT, that STOPS better than a PRO V1, but FOR SURE went straight....
WILSON TRIAD
I don't play this ball much, I keep a sleeve of them for par 3's usually, BUT... if you have premium clubs, use a premium ball. Distance wise... I lost too many yards off the tee, all be it STRAIGHT, just to many yards. That said, it hangs VERY WELL distance wise with a pro v1, no question. I think that extra D comes from the straight flight, BUT the pro v1 is much more forgiving on mishits eith my clubs. I WISH this ball had 10 to 15 yards more on it with that control atound the green. Doesn't exist. WILDON TRIAD straigt straight, just a tad too short.
Just a thought from a non-golfer. If you're consistently flying right, wouldn't it make sense to move slightly counterclockwise and aim left of the hole so it would end up more centered?
Yeah I would normally do that if we where playing a true round but I was trying to get a good baseline for what my swing was doing that day. Then hoping the ball would shine.
In theory this should work but I have done that a lot in the past and it can make it worse. All you do is end up opening your body to the ball which makes you swing across it putting more spin on the ball and it goes left to right more severely. Try to find out what is causing the slice and correct that rather than compensating for it, I think in my case I need to adjust my grip as my club face is open when it strikes the ball.
Loving the content keep it up! One suggestion for possibly a little more accurate result, in future, interchange the balls as you’re hitting them so that you’re not making corrections when using the second set of balls. It comes like the first set is being used as practice shots. Great work!

I am an 11 hdcp and have been playing these for about a year. I can only get them at Dick's. With the driver at times, you can see the ball self-correct in the air. It is just slightly shorter than a ProV1, and does not spin like a ProV1, but it holds a green.
What about Wilson Triad? Next, I spun these balls with my Check Go Pro and none of them came up on the “direction arrow”! They do have a triangular pattern though!

Bry good to have goals but helps if you make the. Realistic. Your goal should be consistently in the 90s because from what you have shown you don't break 100 very often. That is counting all swings and when you go ob not dropping where it went in a hitting again from the tee. Just saying if you count everything. Unless your goal is to be in the 80s for nine holes. Jk. I do hope you prove me wrong. You don't show any nine and 18 hole rounds. Your fun to watch.

Why'd y'all leave it on 7 iron when you hit driver?
These things will straighten your ball flight, but not straighten your swing path! I bought a couple dozen but I have to wait until spring to try them unfortunately.

This ball does not stop a slice!! I lost these quicker than a super soft. Absolutely didn't work at all.
