No. There is a reason why the engineers engineered it with a single pole or a double pole contactor. You need to carry two of each on your truck. Sometimes it’s for compressor crankcase heat.
I come across lots of units that don't have crank case heaters, but have a two pole contactor. Carrier Tech Support suggest to shut down all circuits. On a single pole, replace with 2 pole. On three phase replace the 2 pole with a 3 pole. I came across today a Eubank that had a 3 pole, but it's single phase no reason for a 3 pole that I could see.
I used to think the Measure Quick app was a pain until I learned how use it. It gives you so much information if you are totally probed up. I like the testo app too but MQ is awesome.
Thanks Jeff for taking us along today always enjoy and learn thanks for the video
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend
Nice work man 😊as always 😊
Appreciate that.
Wouldn't just be better to replace with a two pole contactor. I never use 1 pole contactor. Id rather turn off all circuits when not energized.

The mark of a good tech is stripping #6 wire with linemen’s or side cuts, been in the business for 26 years and never used wire strippers..
Hey Jeff, I see you don't use the Testo app. Is that other app better to use then the Testo one?

@@JeffsHVACAdventures Cool. I'll have to give it a try.
