    Great race breakdown. I'm learning all I can being new to the track.
    I am constantly amazed at how hard I see you and others push/drive
    the bike at entry and exit. One of the many areas I need a whole lot of
    work in to level up my skills.
    Thanks for sharing and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁

    Lol imagine this. Rip around the track racing as an expert. Break your foot loading up your toolbox. The irony.
    Nice racing. I need to get down to road Atlanta and barber myself. Far but obviously worth it. Maybe next season's cycle jam.

    • @cheetah740
      @cheetah740  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mannnnn that's exactly what I thought too...how did I break my foot like this. But good thing is at least bike is in one piece lol.
      Definitely worth the drive at least once!

    Great video and commentary as always, man!
    Did you do a video before (maybe last year?) about rearsets and peg positioning on them? I remember watching it and though it was you, but can't find it.

      Yes the video is titled "You're losing seconds on your lap times because of this". I posted it about 4-5 videos back on my channel.

    See you have the forks flush on the triple. Mind sharing your geo setup? Rear shock spacer?

    • @cheetah740

      Yeah I have changed stuff from then but I have a rear shim of 4mm.
      Front is 548mm
      Rear is 341mm + 4 mm shim

    Great job and welcome back. Not too shabby for all that time off. What my better half does with her lap timer is she turns it on but puts a piece of tape over it so she can't look at it until she comes back in. That way you record the data, but are not distracted.

    When you first got into racing did you start in the 600 class? I plan to get into racing in the near future, I ride a zx6r but I’m considering getting a 400 to start in the 400 class. What’s your thoughts on that?

    • @cheetah740
      @cheetah740  ปีที่แล้ว

      That really depends on your size. Me at 6ft 2in really would have a hard time being competitive in the 400 class. I did buy a 400 but this was after I had been racing 600s for a while and I sold it pretty quick since its a different riding style as well. If you are on the shorter or smaller side or the scale, you can do well on a 400 but going with 600cc is the usual way to go.
      I honestly think you can get just as fast starting on a 600cc.

    Why does the race grid you guys in different groups?

    • @cheetah740
      @cheetah740  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question, they do this in order to keep an order of safety since they don't want everyone bunching up into turn 1 and 2. A little frustrating since they don't base these grids off of qualifying times but rather points for the season.

    Is it superstock suspension?
