Your b role and on the bike footage is amazing. I would love it more if you can turn the music down way way low when your on track. People who ride/race want to hear the engine so we can also listen to how your riding the bike. Nothing better then a screaming 600. Great job!!!

I guess there is a reason he was wearing the orange T Shirt ... Situational awareness is key such as closure rate. You could see the excess closure rate at the 5 marker. Glad there were no serious injuries.
He missed seeing the Checkered flag while passing me on the left ( flagged was right side ) so I don’t know if that would have help, but it was something that we talked about.
What's your take on fault in that crash? Rider in front did check up about 60-70 meters sooner than you guys had on the previous lap. But at the same time, wasn't there enough space ahead for the rider in the back to see that and avoid the crash?
A little mixed honestly, target fixation was a factor but Bear did slow up pretty much in the wrong spot. I think a more experienced ride might have avoided it. Brennen is new to racing and was trying to get past me after I got in front. Some red mist was involved 😂 haha! I talked to both riders and they are both willing to accept partial responsibility.
Everyone new to Roebling checks up way too early into T1. I had a near miss similar to this during a track day there recently, but I never ride directly behind an unknown rider for that very reason. I always ride off their line by at least a foot going into braking zones so that I can avoid them if they surprise me and check up early or hard. In terms of fault, it’s always on the rider following, period.
The guy out thete in the orange looks like a Vest instructor . I guess the poor guy in front was just trying the fast line. It look like he had the right away but not that day.
Orange shirts are for Provisional Novice riders during their first weekend. Brennen is super fast already so I can see how that may look! I glad it wasn’t worse than it could have been.
