I bought one for Christmas this year, it was on sale and the best thing about it for me is that it sounds absolutely phenomenal. I probably use it for recording my next song instead of the software plugins I use normally. It's that good. So the sound quality you get for the amazing price makes this an absolute steal. If you wanna try a modeler board and not spend a lot of money this is the one to get. Few points to consider: - I can't make it sound great going into an amp. My old rig was a Zoom G3xn into the front of a clean amp. Which sounds great! But the Valeton sounds best if you use the amp models combined with cabsim/IRs and going straight into a PA or monitors. - The only negative for me: I haven't found a way to set a global tempo... BPM is only saved per preset. If you switch to another preset mid song (for a solo for example) and then go back the tempo resets back to default. So in a live situation you either have to stay in the preset, or save the correct tempo for every preset you are going to use, or you'll have to tap after every switch. I really hope there can be a solution for this, seems to me like it would be an easy software fix?
New update 1.4.7 or something like that gives you much more stomp capabilities just going to global settings, and from four then you have eight stomps, and if you put the volume at the end of this signal chain there all the way to the front of the signal chain next to the wall paddle there will be no latency
After owning it for a few months I think the only thing I'm disappointed is with where the back button is located I often end up bumping the amp volume knob when attempting to hit it and it can drastically change the volume of your volume unexpectedly High into the red if you're not careful. I do love having the amp knobs readily available though.
Agreed that is annoying :D Same with the save button. It happened to me once or twice that I changed the treble while saving. But if you're careful it's fine.
that led at the top of the wah is not pointless... that pedal has 2 modes: volume pedal or wah pedal. you can switch it whenever you want and the light will change color to indicate each mode
hello, which has a better sound quality zoom G6 or valeton jp 200. in my country zoom G6 is cheaper. my use case is worship live gig and traveling which one would u recommend. i just want good sounding unit in a good price
@@GuitarGeordie thank u ..one thing I love to do is spend hours making patches on software. i guess just changing presets won't be much issue on stage. but I do get the frustration behind it, once anything goes wrong on stage with the patch it's over.

Hard (toe) press forward toggles expression pedal from Wah Red LED to Volume Green LED

The G6 sounds better but the UI is terrible.

It sure is. What were zoom thinking of!
Is it good for acoustic guitar?
it does have an acoustic pre amp also u can load IRs
How did you use your solid state combo with this? Did You go into the amp front input, or the FX return in the back?
Either or both
