iDance Navarasa - CONTEMPORARY Dance (Bhayanaka Rasa)

The performance shown in the Video is CONTEMPORARY DANCE performed at the iDance NAVARASA ( Heels Dance Academy's Annual Dance Festival )
The performance depicts the BHAYANAKA rasa (fear of the unknown) using contemporary technique in which the struggle of 6 youngsters who die and refuse to leave this world with the angels of death is shown.
BHAYANAKA is fear. The subtle and nameless anxiety caused by a presentiment of evil, the feelings of helplessness evoked by a mighty and cruel ruler, and the terror felt while facing certain death are all aspects of Bhayanaka.
Below is a brief about what is NAVARASA.

“Nava” means nine and “Rasa” means emotions.
The concept of rasa is fundamental to various forms of Indian Classical Dance and Music.
The Navarasas give dance completeness. "Rasa" is about human state of mind. It’s about what the mind feels and the expression of the feeling thereafter. In the Bharata’s Natyashastra, Rasa is an emotion experienced by the audience created by the facial expression or the Bhava (cause of emotion) of the actor. Thus Rasa encompasses not just emotions but also the various things that cause that emotion.
The Rasas are the mainstay of Performing Art, which tries to present various phases of human life.
