My all time favorite candy! When I was a kid my father used to bring this home just for me whenever he comes home from abroad. This will always remind me of those times. ❤️
Your Almond Roca was always such a special treat when I was growing up. I remember in the '60's and 70's my parents received it and Sees as holiday gifts from their business vendors. Us kids didn't get to have much of the Roca. It was reserved esp. for the adults, mostly Mom. Now, when we get a tin, I'm almost as stingy with it as Mom was, but I have to share with my husband. I've got to try the other flavors! Thanks for the tour.
I studied abroad to Tacoma and my host family gave me this wonderful almond roca. Since then, I'm a big fan of it! Now I went back to my country Japan but still keep buying this ;)
Since its debut in 1923, ALMOND ROCA has been made in Tacoma, WA. Today, the company's one and only factory produces more than 2.3 million pieces of day, which are distributed to over 35 countries around the world. I accidently found this alomond roca in my foster mother's top drawer in the dresser when I was snooping around, I was. I think 7 years old and she had a good supply in that dresser, I ate so much of it that one day I had a tummy ache for 2 day's, after that find but, I still LOVE them just like I found them that one Saturday so long ago, thank you for keeping the good candy around, please don't stop making this wonderful delite, I have not been able ri find it at our walmart but, I keep looking, God bless you all and Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
I wonder why they stopped the tour. I went with my class in 5th grade. The next day Brown & Haley took out a classified ad in the Tribune thanking us and published all our names. I still have it in my school days book somewhere.
There were two unpackaged candies inside a just bought almond roca tin can… I thought the packaging process was done by hand, but after realising it was done by machine , I find it even more hard to believe…
lots of wastage from the tin to the individual wrapper. When I eat one its gone in a flash. I wonder if can atleast not wrap them individually. We live in a world that materials are finite not to be pushy I also love Almond Roca.
