Also you might be the most exciting thing on the road, even park next to a luxury hot rod.. I was looking at gas ones, they were older probably 25 years old they did get 30 miles to the gallon, but I have a Toyota Scion, I get 30 miles to gallon and much more car.. amazing amount of space inside.. easy to park, especially if you have a handicap tag.. if it's the car of your dreams you're probably going to have to move out of your state, every state has interesting different requirements..

Where my father was born, villagers either have cars and minibuses for driving on road. cheaper electric tricycles are used to carry stuff around their village. Even cheaper electric "wheelchairs" are used in town, but I think it's banned in cities because it's crappy, needs no license and goes really fast.

At first, we thought range was all important but since we're both retired we only have a need to travel by car locally. This should help us save , on an electric vehicle, by not requiring a massive battery source which adds a considerable amount to the overall cost. So, our search begins...

That thing only travels at the speed of a bicycle (I think 30km/h), but is more than enough to visit friends in the neighbouring towns, drive to the discounter for the weekly groceries, inspect the fields and hunting cabins etc. They are also road legal (atleast here in Germany and our laws tend to be among the strictest, when it comes to vehicles) and the required driving license is also the lowest (either a normal car license or one for small mopeds). Disadvantage: Golf carts do not have a pickup bed.

The real road going evs need to adopt high quality and lighter design I feel with incorporated pv panels low inertia wheels and lightweight materials ready for when batteries get lighter. It won't change the total angle of the sweep of the wiper, but it will wipe more of the windshield. Just run the wiper to the top, measure how much room you have, then buy one that covers that area.
If you could use more clearing at the top of the sweep, just lift the wiper from the shaft and rotate it a few degrees. It will not clear all the way to the bottom, but a clear windshields at the top may be more useful than at the bottom.

Same here, I was actually look for a small truck but all the trucks on my local dealership are like giant sizes. 😂 this truck is like what I need but nowadays the shipping cost is too pricey to buy it.

Ehh there is good reason to care where it's built. Lots of Chinese will knowingly sell completely nonfunctional products for just under market value, because it isn't illegal there.

@@bradthunderpants3283 For off road farm and ranch use whats the big deal? There are some pretty good stuff built in India as well. I would prefer Canada/USA built however significant cash saving seems to rule. The unions are pricing North America out of the market and have all but destroyed the UK auto manufacturing sector.

@@robertdryburgh1457 its more that lots of Chinese sellers make products that literally never work once. All Chinese law cares about is that they technically ship you a motor, battery, and truck, they don't care if that motors blown out and completely nonfunctional and, the battery ancient and at 25% it's original capacity. No refunds for you, and no consequences for the company.
So the big deal is. . . . If the thing functions at all?

I'm sure someone already mentioned the order of the charging connection is an important safety feature. Like a car booster starter pack that has to be connected to something and sense some voltage, it won't work if the battery is completely totally dead. This prevents power spikes blasting ur computer or people powering up devices in enclosed areas, fire hazards like powering car stereos or something with bare wires and jumper cables or alligator clips or backfeeding power into the grid somewhere.

I'm really surprised at how well it's held up. I think the only odd thing I've seen about it is the tailgate, it doesn't come down flat which is strange. For a cheap little run about it seems pretty reasonable.

You may want to look into switching out the suspension components on this to something from a side by side utility vehicle. Would give you a more comfortable ride if you are willing to do some light fabrication work.
